Afrodite from Kannabia

I will not know how this strain smokes for a few weeks yet, but I love how this strain grows. I got a seed as a freebie in my last Attitude order and it's in my current bud room, 4 weeks today. What I like is it basically just has tall stalks of bud, not a lot of side branches. That may sound counter intuitive, but with 5 or 6 such stalks per plant it should be really nice. These stalks are going to produce.

If the weed is good I may do a whole crop (18 plants) of it Can you imagine a 6x10 field of these? Only the one plant in the foreground is the Afro.



Anybody grown/smoked this?

Yup, pretty much the same pheno as mine, huh. Like I said, if the weed is good I wanna grow a whole bunch of those.

My aphrodite freebie did very well through veg and a few weeks of flowering. It then started to wither and drop leaves. Couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until it was beyond saving. Turns out that the airstones in my reservoir had clogged and caused the roots to drown. I was very impressed with it up until this point. Would have liked to see it at maturity.

Those are some nice looking plants guys. I'm running Kannabia Special and Mataro Blue (freebies) and I'm liking them so far.

I as well received an afrodite as a freebeee. Germin the sees as we speek any tips or pointers of this strain?

I grew a freebie out last year. Nice smoke. My sister loved it and ended up buying a pack. If there wasn't 5000 more strains to try, I would grow 'er again

I have kept mine going since last year. One of my keepers lol. Great smoke, good yield, lots of aroma. Grows tall and sativa like, not a lot of branching but productive stalks.

vaping some afrodite right now. it's great tasting. it smelled like a strewberry field when it was drying. has a very good taste in the vape. smoking as well. i cut her early at 8 weeks cause i needed room for other strains. got another afrodite that im gonna let go 9. one of the best tasting shit i've grown along with super lemon haze, gnomo automatic, and afgan kush x skunk. afrodite may not have the greatest potency, but it's nothign to complain about and the flavor makes up for it.

I've grown afrodite, I think 3 grows ago. I still have some, that's how I know it's good because. Easy to grow. Good yield. I'm a big fan of the kannabia seed company. Every grow I've done, since I've encountered them, has consisted of a kannabia seed. Mataro blue, super. Afrodite, super. Pato #1, super. La reina de Africa, curing 2 weeks right now. Now I'm going in with citrus and Thai fantasy

for sure bro! i got 2 free afrodite's from an order. im gonna try my 2nd seed out soon. i could have done my one better but for growing it sub par it was amazing. i went too light on the nutrients and she turned a lime green in the middle of flower. guess it's better than burning her though. that kannabia company really has their flavors dialed in their genetics. interesting you say the mataro blue. the gnomo automatic is actually mataro blue crossed with a ruderalis. great stuff too, and ppl always told me autos were junk. the afrodite though, it's like strawberry heaven!

I was surprised to see this thread pop back up. Kannabia Special and Mataro Blue I posted about 2 years ago turned out very nice. Special was very skunky and a great early finishing outdoor plant. Started Mataro Blue later so it stayed small but that turned out nice also. Reminded me of Blue Cheese a little.

I'm actually growing Big Band that I got 2 years ago with the other freebies. About 2 weeks into flower and looking good.

To Pizzapuffer, Live in USA .This the first time growing Gnomo auto can tell me what kind of nutrients to use in soil and hydro ?

On another note I just recently grew mataro blue from seed again and the pheno I had was trash. Very slow grower with low yields and it did not taste good. I was hoping to get something similar to what i had the first time, which was awesome. I can say with confidence that I will not keep this in rotation. I still like kannabia seeds though. They recently came out with newer seeds
