noham,
Glad to help ya.
I'm medicated as usual, but I'll tell you what I did. It is not complicted at all.
Let me get this out of the way first. Regarding the seeds on the plant for 3 months. This was a side project and really didn't know what I was doing. I let the plant just dry out in the pot. It was about 3 months or so. I just didn't want to pluck the seeds too early. Figured the longer on the plant the better.
So here we go.
This is how I did my AKR
autoflower.
1. Go buy one of these or make your own CS. You can find threads on here to make your own. I spent $20 and bought it off Amazon.
2. When the plant is 5-6 inches tall, mist/spray
ONE bud site
stem (not the bud site itself but the stem right below it) one time a day until you run out. The bottle states 14-21 days. (I was a dumbass and sprayed all the bud site stems so of course it didn't last that long. BTW - I think I would have harvested more seed if I only would have sprayed ONE branch.)
Pick a lower bud site.
3. The pistals on that bud site will turn brown/red whatever you want to call it.
4. A few weeks later you will have pollen sacs that will open. Can't remember exact times somewhere around 2-3 weeks.
5. Put a piece of paper under the bud sight and flick it slightly. You will see pollen fall on the paper. Again can't remember exactly, I think the pollen continued for a week or so.
6. You have some choices here.
A. Simply take the pollen which is on the paper and sprinkle it on the other bud sight pistals of the same plant to create FEM seeds of that plant.
B. Take that pollen and Sprinkle it on another fem plants pistals to create a cross of fem seeds.
C. You can store the pollen in the fridge for future use. Again you can find out how on here with a search.
OR you can do all three and have a party.
If you end up taking on this little project, please pop back in and let us know how it's going.
FYI - Pollen is weightless and will seed other plants. Be careful.
