afgan kush (white hairs)

OK,I'm wondering if this is suppose to be happening right now. These plants are only about 16 days old and theres white hairs forming all over them. I'm on a 20/4 light cycle and I know this means there both females but my other plants that are different strains are not acting this way. I noticed today that there Might be a little light getting in my grow cabinet in the dark period but, wouldn't the other plant's from different strains be doing the same and there about a month old. Please help me if you can, just don't know if it's just the way this strain acts. I just thought it was to early. THANKS

Hey...don't worry so much. Light getting into veg is ok...it's bloom you gotta worry about. As with the hairs(pistils), I've had G-13 do the same thing from the get go. Within a month I seen hairs like it was flowering...now my plant was stunted so I kicked it to the curb but it was something I'd never seen before. Remember, all strains have their own characteristics and will respond slightly differently to the same conditions. Having said that, AUTOFLOWER(CANNABIS RUDERALIS) is a species of cannabis that flowers according to age and not light cycle. If your seeds were crossed with cannabis ruderalis then that might explain the hairs developing. Breeders often use the ruderlis when crossing genetics for its ability to withstand harsher climates, early flowering, and short stature. I personally dont like autoflowers and prefer staight indica or indica sativa hybrid....F$^# the autoflower...clones for perpertual harvest! Hope that helps...Take care and hit me up if there's anything else I can help with. Peace

AKR is an auto. I just grew a batch and they finished at 6 weeks flowering under a 1000W. light.
