Aeroponic Garden Help

Yo i got a aeroponic garden with a ten gallon reservoir and I'm having problems with water. I don't want to go out and buy 110 gallons of water through out the grow. I live on a well and i was wondering the procedure id need to follow to make it usuable for my system. It uses a pump with a filter on it(my garden) but my water has alot of iron and other trace minerals, would they cause harm to the plants? Is it possible to never change the water put just add in what is missing at the end of two weeks with more nutes? To save money.

I'm not sure about how iron and the other items will harm your plants, but I will recommend catching rain water in a bucket or garbage can.

boil it or .. let it sit for 48 hrs I have a well too but I go to a fresh spring and fill containers for the plants
