Whats the best temperature? Should I cut the length now since they are so long? I wouldn't have scraped stem then. I appreciate it.

It depends on the air temperature but assuming youre around 78-85F range, then water temps around 68-72F. Pretty much the reverse of if you're rooting with plugs on heat mats hah. Warmer air, cooler roots for aero. Dont cut now, minimize stress for them; I would wipe the goop off though. I did and started rooting right after that. I mean you can root clones in a cup with tap water, dont complicate it until you got the basics. Keep the stem clean with access to H20 and adequate light You wont get goop if you lower temps in rootzone and avoid rooting gels. Scrape isnt wrong, just not needed

I can't argue with anyone here who has experiences different than mine, but I can get about 97% success with clones in my homemade dwc cloners. DWC is a little different than a sprayer but pretty similar. I would ask what is your tds or ec? I go with about 250 ppm (at the .7 ec conversion). Mostly just RO water with a little cal mag, etc. Rooting hormones or not, it works either way, as long as the clones are taken at 2 weeks into flowering or less. At such a low tds pH doesn't matter much. I found that the temp is extremely important. Too low, they won't root. Too hot, the stalks get slimy and fewer of them root. I think in dwc 80 or 82, something like that is about right. I imagine the sprayer system would be similar in all the regards I mentioned.

I've find they root regardless of the temperature it just takes a little longer, I used two T5s to root 10 clones back in October the maximum temperature was only 18/19c.

Idk where the two weeks come from but it's irrelevant, you can take clones in veg or flower to at least week 6 weeks ime.

I've tried taking clones later into flowering and I found that 2 weeks seemed to be the cutoff for it to work best. First thing I noticed was a decrease in percentage of successful rooting, but the later they were taken, the more my clones would do weird stuff. Like root, sit there and do nothing, or root and continue to grow, but not vegetatively. 4, 5 + weeks in, if they rooted, they'd very slowly try to grow buds in the cloner, but in a super weird way that didn't even look like weed. If they didn't die doing that, they had to be under 18/6 for another month to go back to veg growth. So the clones taken too late wouldn't be able to get going in time to be swapped back in to the cycle. (staged harvest every 2 weeks)

I got no roots after 10days the clones look healthy for the most part. The water is 75 the ph is 5.8-6.

I took some new clones without scraping I'm worried the humidity may not be high enough in the air not where roots are.

I just can't figure it out.

Its been said already,no need for food theres no roots.You want the clones to starve they grow roots then.If your spraying food at their stems then they have no need to grow roots.
My .02 anyway.
They'll still root but its going to take another week,do you even see any little white bumps?

Air humidity is not really relevant with aero clones. also your clones were stressed therefore 14-18 days is a more realistic timeline. Water temp may be too high, try placing on cold floor or use cycle timer. Light may be on the low side still, I have LED tubes like that and I can only get houseplants to live under them, just isn't enough for any "crop" (lettuce, cannabis, etc.). Id get cfls, cost like 10 bucks and you know it works. .5 EC? What is in the water, nutes+RO or tap? Any rooting dip used?

Also you are right to clone from veg

I don't have anything in the water I replaced it three times. So just tap but PH adjusted to 6. Rooting dip was lightly used when I started. The box is on a cold floor still water temp is 75-76.

My timer comes in today. I have another tube light I will hook up now.

Search for a grow cfl, I think you'll find a proper 35/65k grow cfl for a similar price to the 2nd.
If your budget allows T5s x3/4 are also good especially so for clones.

Neither of those bulbs are any good. When we say blue we mean the color of the light, the higher Kelvin rating, not the color of the glass on the bulb. Called "daylight" ,instead of blue, at hardware store. Just get cfl; or T5s are superior if you got the $

There is a book I saw, its called grow 1/2lb for $100. dude uses cfls to grow 8oz. He corroborates my experience that they are great lights for those on tight budget. I can run to the hardware store, spend 20-30$ and have a grow light setup. That said I use t5 and HID, I have cfl for clones now because my T5 bulb burnt out; hence the point; saved my ass when the bulbs burned out and for cheap too. Ill flower out 5" test plants with cfls as well to try out phenos, put bulb or two above each plant.

Those are good lights in flourescent, not LED. You have a larger wattage cfl, thats why its in that shape. Those are effective for growing plants beyond clone size. Ive seen 150-250Watt cfl in an HID style reflector produce some good green.

Yes i sometime use a 150w 65k in a 60cm parabolic and works well for seedlings to small plants with nice growth pattern, however if I'm in a hurry I'll skip the cfl/T5 period and go right to mh after they sprout.
