I started propogating some clones today and the clonex bottle i bought says 2 teaspoons per quart which bring the pm from zero to 800 ppm should I be worried or just trust the directions. I have always used pure water or uber diluted clonex with good results it just takes about 2-3 weeks for roots to form. So this time I followed the directions in hopes of faster rooting should I be worried or am I fine?

I've only ever used Olivia's Cloning Solution in the past and all I can tell you is that, following the instructions for that product, leaves you with a PPM of slightly over 300, so the PPM you're reporting sounds high to me.

With that said, I don't use any solutions any more. I use the Clonex rooting gel and pH'd filtered water and actually have better results than I did when I was using a solution.

Hello and how are you?

I too use liquid clonex at 10 ml/l =800 ppm. in a pump driven cloner.

I'm wondering how you are cloning? In a soil ?,,,or misters, bubbles etc. I use a home made cloner/mister and it takes forever. 10 days to see a hair or two and a million nubs, 20 days for a mass.

I'm thinking about adding a 1minute on 4 minute off timer to the pump . Maybe if there is a dry period ( 4 mins.) then the roots will reach quicker??

thoughts anyone??

peace
