aerogarden to soil transplant

Does anybody have experience transplanting seedlings into soil from the aerogarden? I'll be transplanting into fox farm soil and I'm weary of a little mute burn since ff is so rich so I'm thinkin bout blending some peat moss in the immediate area where the seedlings roots will touch. I'm waiting till the babies are atleast two weeks old before transplanting... does this sound good or should I tweak it. oh and I'll use technaflora recipe for success's recommendation for transplanting.

When I grew in soil I used 2" of hydroton on the bottom of the pot, fox farms with some vermiculite mixed in and transplanted the Aerogarden rooter directly into the mix. Usually at about 20 days in AG. Watered with ph balanced H2O and no nutes for 3 days, worked great.

*This was how I did seedlings and clones to soil, when I used to grow in soil.

ok cool, so ill probably lighten up the ff with peat moss or vermiculite
And hold off on nutes for a bit. I really just wanna give it a lite dose of root stimulator. Now I'm wondering if I should throw it under the 250w MH immediately or keep it under flouros for atleast 2-3 days...

I am going to date myself. Originally I used a 6 bulb t12 setup 40w ea (240w)for veg. Then went to a 400w MH. Both worked np, just watch for heat. The t12 setup seemed to give plants that lettuce look a little , nothing bad under the MH.

ive moved 12" plants in veg from a bucket DWC system into coco...laid some coco down and held the plants up while packing them in the coco...it stressed the shit out of them and we lost one but the others made it and bloomed ok...it sounds like youre taking way more precaution than we did...as long as theres a decent root system you should be fine

Yeah I just think that a good 2:1 ratio of ff and peat moss would work out and also stretch your ff supply out since you're"cutting" it w/peat moss. Keep a good 2.5-3ft away from MH for a couple days til roots establish and then lower light down a little at a time.
