:leaf:i know there are probably tons of these posts, but i wanted to make my own about the aerogarden. its a great investment. we planted a seed about a week ago, then 2 days ago we planted 2 more. the first seed took about 2 days to sprout, but the other seeds sprouted the same night we planted them. the seed in the chives cartridge has grown SOO much, and so quickly. do you think its the type of soil maybe? idk i will post pictures on our profile. if you want to comment and help us through this cuz we've never grown before. ill take pictures thru it all so just let us know if you have any advice

dont mean to sound like a dick but just cause you got some seeds to sprout with it doesnt mean it will work to crop. it only has one little flouro and a small resevoir

meh i kinda agree with the AG bashing even tho im using one, its great but first thing i did when it was out of the box was scrap the light and put a 250w mh/hps over them. Next grow the Ag is for clones and im building a DWC, take it form me bro u can build something 10x better for 10x cheaper

Eh, he already has one. Now its up to him to realize he will only be using it as a cloner and a seed starter. I use ours (which we actually bought for food originally) to start seeds and clones and it works great. But you really do need to move it to a home-made DWC and give it more light to get the harvest hes looking for.

LOL...If you have soil in there, you're doing it way wrong

it must be the type of "soil" haha. getting a oz or two out of a 8-9 week grow isn't what I call an "investment" (maybe if you sold it all).
