aerogarden newbie, please help

im bout 2 weeks into and my leaves are starting to turn yellow and brown and crispy, i would post pics but i dont feel comfortable so great help would be appricaied, and any other useful info youd like to throw out there, btw i have the standard one or whatever if that matter, i no when veggin time comes ill need a timer for the 12/12...

uhhh well first of all when its time for vegging.. which should be like nowish you should put them on 18/6 not 12/12.

what kind of lights are you using?
whats the ph?
whats the temp of your grow room.

its hard to diagnose anything without pictures tho :/

lol kinda broke and havnt got a temp. meter or a ph test, and just now read up on cleaning the resivior every week and i havnt done that tin now, and im just running the basic aerogarden light and gettin an addition 400 hps from a buddy

well its worth the investment to properly checc your pH cause you will have some kind of probelms...especially if you going to have a 400 hps,

well if your ph is off you can cause the roots to block out vital nutrients and water which could be causing this discoloration.

you can use the IMG code and paste on here, but you need to lower he pH, its a lil high, what kind of water are you using?

just reg tap water from my basement sick, no im trying it with the purified water from upstairs until i get a ph tester and up or down what eever i need..nehting household to lower the ph?

i think some one was useing lemon juice or somthin, not too sure man, i would let that water sit out for a couples days, its pH is probably really really high
