Aerogarden Growing

I've seen a lot of negativity around growing weed in the Aerogarden. This is my first grow and I'll will say that its completely possible with just using the stock Aerogarden nutrients and monitoring the pH of your water. I have not purchased any of the hydroponic nutrients you often see these sites suggest. You don't have much room to grow more than 2 plants at a time but I'll will definitely give you enough bud sites for a decent yield.

Yep. Just because it possible doesn't make it a good idea or worth it in any kind of way. Lol
But if you're looking for a 7 gram harvest every couple months then bobs your uncle.

For those of us who don't smoke often and just want a blunt every now and then I'm fine with a small yield. Definitely more than 7grams tho.

Hey I'll take anything I can get. If I get 7 grams I'll be back here to say you were right lol. But appreciate the support. It's my first grow so this is a experiment and learning process for me.

It was a gift so I didn't buy it just for weed. Kinda like one of those "I wonder if this works could work" kinda things. But I've been thinking about other hydro systems tho for my next grow.

Hey man, I’ve got 2 Critical Purple Autos going in Aerogarden Ultras. I did add airstones, a reliable line of nutes, and a Spider Farmer light. If you can keep your PH and PPM and stuff in line, and go with strains that don’t get too big, you’ll be successful. (These Critical Purples are twice as big as my last auto run and so far it’s ok but who knows later on). I’m just doing it for fun and am learning so much. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re wasting your time or that it’s not worth it. It is fun. It can work, & I say go for it and enjoy!! Aeroweed.com is a great help if you’ve not found it already. Here’s my girls today. I’m just letting them go but next round I’ll try LST. Got a third one in front that’s in a Super Soil. Just having fun with it!

I love what you got going on here! But yep I'm just like you just doing it for fun. Just learning as I go. My next go round I'm sure I'll switch some things up but the Aerogarden has made it really easy so far! Appreciate the support!

Hello! I'm new here. I'm growing some plants in an aero garden (I see that's kinda controversial, but it's what i'm trying). My babies are wilting! They've been doing so good, then over night, wilt!! I'm new at this and any advice would be welcome!! Thanks in advance!

What's up! First advice I'll offer is you probably have too many plants in there. 1-2 plants max is your best chance of the roots actually having enough space to thrive. They need oxygen and the Aerogarden doesn't provide much of that. Find a small air pump and air stone to run into the reservoir. You can use the Aerogarden nutrients but get a good PPM meter and PH tester to make sure your water is within range. My first grow in the Aerogarden was a success. Only got about an ounce and a half but as a first time grower I was happy. I will say just use this a learning experience though and after this go to the 5 gallon bucket DWC method. Gives your plants way more room to thrive. Good luck!
