Thanks HB! I think the full harvest is about a week away. I clipped one bud that's drying now. I'm out of weed so I needed to pull a little taste earlyAwesome journal man!! I'm looking forward to your future grows
I don't need much so if i can get an OZ dry that's cool. Next grow I'm thinking of some fem lowrider. The quick harvest sounds cool. Plus, I'm kinda tired of having my whole house smell like a giant bud. Aw, who am I kidding. I love that my house smells that way. It's not very conveniant when you have house guests though.
P.S. ATHF rules. Try and cut down on raping Carl...

Hell yea bro, they came out lovely! Check out my grow journal, i picked up some of those desk lamps after you told me what they were. They are prefect for side lighting and for when they are young, Thanks for the info and keep it up! cant wait to hear the final dry weight

Hey guys. Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can cure the bud if I'm out of town. I know the jar method but I was looking for something more "hands off" so that I can travel without any worries. Thanks!

Thanks man. The AG's kinda cool eh? That's a pretty neat idea for drying bud! I'm looking for a good way to let it cure (mason jar) without having to open and close the jar for at least a week at a time. I'm always traveling so curing is kinda hard.
i too am a new user of the aerogarden deluxe...have two seedlings of white widow...where did u get those side lights? you feel u need the extra light?...just ordered the six pack fox farm nutz and waiting for arrival...how large do u let the plant get before sending it into flowering stage? also, so u leave the lights on 24/7 at first? thanks and u have great looking plants...oh, how to avoid boys?

You need extra lights, they will triple in size when they are in flowering, you just calculate that into how much space you have, 24/7 or 18/6, 24/7 gives them more light at first, then go to 18/6 after they have sprouted and are growin good, better conditions factor better female ratio's but it basically a crap shoot

Got the lights at Home Depot. You def need extra light. I let it get about 7" tall (they triple in size during the bloom). 24 by 7 for the whole veg stage (at least that's what I did). Avoid males/hermaphrodites by not stressing the plants out esp early in the grow. You might get some males still so be prepared to kill them off.

I think I'm going to chop her down soon. I'll keep checking the tric's to see when they get cloudy and then start drying & curing. I'll be sure to get some pics before I chop it down.
my two white widows have sprouted their second set of leaves but i notice the stalk is floppy. i use the name disc that cover the pod to more or less center the seedling...how to avoid this problem?...stake them? with a toothpick? the third seedling was planted later than the other two has has just cleared the disc opening;i added two 100 w cfl's to the ag and keep it on 24/7 so far...

I lust harvested this evening. My microscope light burned out so I figured they were close enough anyways. I think I did OK for my first grow. Here's some pictures of the harvest. I'll post more when they dry and have been manicured.
