aerogarden delux in australia?

i would like to start my first grow in an aerogarden to take away many of the mucking around for my first grow. the problem is only the standard version is available in australia. the delux has twice the light, twice the hight etc. my question is #1 can i get the delux model in aus some how? #2 would it still be worthwhile just getting the standard version? i am more worried about the hight restriction than the light as i can add more. and #3 i'm sure ive read on here somewere that higher output bulbs can be purchased that fit directly into the aerogarden itself, is this true and can someone point me into the right direction for this.

before you get up me i am a growing newbie, yes i had done a lot of reading on this site and others but theres just so much info to get through.

by the way i really like this set-up http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=2&xSec=54, but i cant anything like this in australia for a decent price ($1000+ for what looked like a less complete system)

thanks in advance for any help

dude i feel your pain, im in Canberra and had to settle for the standard AG, just add some extra CFL's(i'm just using a desk lamp), air pump and stones and you should be sweet

ebays my friend... just purchased a vegie pro aerogarden from the US 34 inces high with 3 grow bulbs cost me about $335Au delivered including a voltage and plug coverter (including a spare as well). so i guess thats better than spending $220 for the standard one and not being happy with it. now i guess its just a matter of organising some additional lighting, nutes, and of course getting some quality seeds (attitude ships to any country in the world - oh wait they forget to put in the part "any country but Australia" a little dodgy if you ask me. but yer looking to get some of those famous varieties WW, BB, AK-47 or LSD, they all look good to me.
