what nutes are you using the ones that came with it have a ph buffer so you dont need to adjust, if you try you will shock your plants and kill em and if you are using them you dont need to change it out until you start a new batch

I have a pH/EC/ppm meter, so keeping it stable isn't tough. I've used the starter nutes, used some , etc. Not all at the same time. I keep it light on the nutes.

I know all of this information can be found in various places but I would definately appreciate a list of the supplies that you guys have had the best crop with.

Hardware, nutes, pod positions, and any other tips that might be helpful.

I have a good biology and chemistry background so i am just trying to get a good foundation for what this project is going to need.

i personally dont like the nutes that come with the AG. i just used some miracle grow 30-10-10 for veg (half dose) and 15-30-10 for flowering (half dose). seems to be workin fine but you need to get some PH stabilizers to keep the ph lower. ill post pics soon

that looks like it is nutes for soil, i would like to know how that works out, please keep it posted

hey guys, just had a quick question, on my 2nd attempt at growing in the aerogarden and everything has been going pretty well, i have been using the recipe for success technaflora nutes, my plants are just starting the 4th week of flowering, i have been switching back and forth from my 400 w hps light to the reqular aerogarden hood light, just depends on the temps in my grow room but mainly they have been under my hps light, i usually put the hood light back on near the end of the day like an hour befor the light goes out..i started with seven, two didn't make it, 2 were males and i cut them down, now i have 3 sexing , one is clearly a female and the other two haven't show yet or at least enough for me to tell yet, but

anyway i guess my question in a nutshell is I wanted to clone from the female since it may be the only one i have, can i just cut some branchs off and put them back into one of the aerogarden slots and will they root, meaning not chaning the 12/12 lighting, i have the clone gel but from what i have been reading you should get like a heatmat and put them under 24/24 cfl lighting, just curious if anyone has cloned with the aerogarden while another plant is flowering..if anyone can help would be appreciated ..sorry for the book

I'd say just make a clone box. You don't need much. one CFL, a humidity dome (optional and really only for the first few/several days) and keep the temps and humidity right. (~80F ad 85%) Let them root really good and toss in the AG for flowering. Lighting 18 or 24 a day for cloning.

But if you do try to root under 12/12, please post the results!

i chickened out and went and bought a 2 gallon bucket and drilled 1 inch holes in the lid just enough to squeeze the aerogarden plastic pod in..and then i got a water pump and some poly tubbing, 360 spray nozzles and built a quick lil aerophonics system,

am still using the technaflora nutes, just did there cloning recipe 4 tsp of red thrive and 1 gallon of water, and since i have the hps light for the flowering i just took the aerogarden hood and put it over the clones, so hopefully everything goes well and they will root and like you said i will just throw them in the areogarden to flower...

Be carefull. Thats a small hole. Taking out a rooted clone may damage the root ball.

I made a cloner (still yet to try) out of a 5gal bucket. about 5 or 6 spots up top. 2.25 inch holes and used some foam to hold the cuttings.

i just transplanted my 1'9" plant from the AG to waterfarm! The root ball was so big it didnt fit through the AG 1" hole. i had to bunch the roots and force them upward (not tugging from the top too hard). so the root got handled a little rough. the plant was fine in the waterfarm for about an hour but then it started to go limp i was freakin out hahaha. i turned the HPS light off and let them rest for the rest of the night. the next morning the plants we fine thank god.

anyways be careful with that one inch hole. rig something up so the roots will have room to pull through.

by the way the waterfarm, made by general hydroponics, i highly recommend. it comes with everything you need. Nutrients, rocks, airpump ect. look it up its worth it. i got mine for $55

hey guys i need some help.these are the BCGod Bud and i dont want to mess them up.they are growing half leaves that look like they have been chewed on and the leaves are dryin up like on the tips.i always have this prop! any advice will be taken seriously

I gotta say, I don't see any female flowers.

Pics 1,2 & 5 are pollen sacs.

damn, I just read the entire 68 pages of threads because I'm close to harvest time and was trying to find some valuable information. First of all, how many times can you guys ask about germinating seeds and lighting????!!! For the love of god. Read the FAQs and read the damn thread. There is so much repetition going on here. I have a question that hasn't been asked or answered here. I have 2 plants in the AG. I'm not sure exactly how many weeks of flowering or whatever. This is my first attempt. The plants were planted on May 10th. They have been on 12/12 for about a month now. One plant has buds with decent sized nuggets and trichomes all over. The nuggets are probably getting nice, fat, and round. I'd say it has about a half oz on it already, and it is about 26 inches tall. The other plant, however, is JUST starting to get hairs on it, and has stretched a whole bunch. I'm thinking its a sativa (?) and the one that is budding is an indica. I'm just wondering why one plant would bud and the other one is so far behind? I mean, it looks like its a month or more younger than the budding one.
