alright. got up to jax to check on the ladies over the weekend. lucky i got up there when i did, because they'd def. be dead by now. kind of a long story, but here goes...
turned out the airstone was clogged, so the water was stagnant. stagnant nute water = quite possibly worst smelling thing EVER. anyway, the stagnant water had started rotting the roots. BAD. the big plant on the right was falling over and dying, and the one on the left was starting to. i replaced the airstone with a couple big ones, changed and rinsed the res., and rinsed the roots, which were disgustingly gray/brown. added some hydrogen peroxide to some spring water and refilled with a prayer. just talked to my buddy, and he said they're coming back great. so i think that's taken care of. but since the buds stopped growing due to oxyegn deprivation, i have to wait x amount of more time now until i can harvest.
on the condition of the plants...i forgot to take pics since i was so caught up in saving them, but the buds look great! the big one on the right is covered with dark green buds covered in orange hairs, and the smaller one on the left has neon yellow/green buds all over it that are covered in crystals! the buds are looking to be some dank shit if i can just get them to increase in size, which i'm sure will happen now that the water is good again. my friend said that the buds have already noticeably gotten bigger since friday when we changed the water. so that's the update. once again, sorry that there arent any pics, but take my word that aside from the drooping and leaf loss due to algae on the water, they're looking good. i'm goin up in a couple more weeks to check again and i'll try to get pics then. everyone take it easy
