Aero cuttings

I bet its been asked before but having trouble finding it. The DIY aero propergator says I must have a timer for the BUBBLES, what do I set it to?

For the last week its been on 24/7. I take it this is why I've lost half of them. Everything below the lid just went like mush!:spew:

mister aero cloners usually don't have air stones, and bubble cloners aren't aero cloners....

which do you have? if bubble, just let it bubble 24 hours a day until roots, and keep your res level 1-2'' below the net pots or cut stems.

I have one of the bubbling lunch boxes.

Any ideas why 50% have gone mushy?

Out of the 30 or so clones I've ever done in plugs I've had 100% success.

water being too warm or cold can cause stem rot, so can keeping the stems submerged. i find cloners to be a waste of time; i clone large numbers in peat pucks, in a simple dome. two weeks of wait and 100% roots is fine with me ;)

Same here m8. I only had 4 plugs, so took 4 of the best. Then did another 20 in this tube.

i've made cloners of all kinds of shapes and sizes; nothing seems to be as reliable as pucks. cost effective as well, 3$ for 72 pucks... ;)
