Hello guys, recently a business opportunity came to all of us...me, like most of us, dream to have a small farm where you produce your super quality buds, right? I live in Spain, and I'm thinking of starting a start-up Weed Farm. First of all, I want to produce 60 big plants outdoors, each in an 80-gallon smart pot, but to be honest I don't have enough experience has a grower to start something like this!

Is anyone here who had done it before? Please help me out.

So my plan is to grow 60 big cannabis plants, but my company can't grow just any strain we would like, cause we want it for medical proposes. So we thought of growing only strains with 2% or less THC and high in CBD's, like Charlotte's Web. We would buy the expensive seeds, make 60 clones, make those clones big and transplant them to big 80-gallon smart pots outside. But then some issues came to my head, 60 pots with 80-gallon each it is a lot of soil for the plants. I'm starting a start-up and being the only investor I need to plan ahead all the materials and possible cost for everything. I have loads of questions, and the more I dive in this project, more questions come to me.

1- I want my ladies to grow in super soil with no nutrients, make it as cheap as possible with decent quality as well, how can i do it?

2- I can't find to much information about charlotte's web strain online. What type of issues this strain can make? don't forget we are talking about 80-gallon smart pot outside.

3- As a newbie in growing big outdoor plant, what issues can i expect?

4- As a newbie in running a cannabis business what issues can i expect?

Help me make my dream come true. Peace!

1) you could use additives such as riverstone or gravel to line the bottom, something to that effect even if you just use rocky dirt from the back yard. I use riverstone/brookstones myself. Helps prevent packing and poor drainage issues. I also like to top the stones with rootballs from field weeds cut low on the stems and pulled up. Takes up about 6 or so inches of the bottom and less bags/shoveling, the rest of the pot is useable soil.
2) Half your plant size is going to be that "sticky bud rush" it`s like a second geer for the plant at flowering, CDB plants pretty much grow the same slower rate from the no so good plant`s I`ve seen.
There are strain wizards here at RIU too.
3) Bugs, mildew/molds, more bugs, birds, wind, rain, more bugs, plant illnesses, sunlight direction, animals, tie downs, odors, and more bugs.
4) Rippers, cops, nosey people, questions, sales, quality control,...and people you shouldn`t have told.,

Your dream will be what you put into it. 4lbs per plant ??? ..... I`ve seen much more than that. I left behind more than that in junk bud.

A picture is worst more than a 1000 words! thx you so much. I have thought about it, in the first year i won't buy a greenhouse, but on the second year I'm planning on getting one.
The greenhouse cost $8,000us & we pulled #150lbs from the first harvest......the greenhouse will quickly pay for it's self. Much better to keep everything out of prying eyes. Might be worth getting a small loan up front.

Thx for the excellent advice.

What can i use instead of azomite, rock phosphate, epson salts, powdered humic acid and dolomite for my super soil?

thx bro...i will do that, there is so many problems i can avoid with a greenhouse, I may get a loan and buy one greenhouse. What is the height and width of your beautiful greenhouse? is it important to have a minium height to allow sun light to penetrate? what kind of considerations i may need to take in account before buying a green house to grow weed?

its the guys like you that are making my life hell.....lol

vip: put yourself and business on a professional level

unless you have the actual level qualification then you will have to hire the horticulturist

I recommended a minimum of 5 years experience in semi wood plants

not grapes or vinting hops or small fruit is best

once you have the guy, next is the loan

as you have no experience or cash then you may have to raise

the cash on your horticulturists resume

best to buy a used lot rather than making it your own

get a small job at your local, see if its what you want

many don't last a week

and confess their infatuation with great displeasure

wait an see

We have 2 of these greenhouses. 30'x60'x16'. Get them as tall as you can, these are 16'. Get roll up side walls for better ventilation.....you should be able to pull 2 harvest a year.

Well you`re looking to mix a dump truck load of dirt, it will be wise to think it through. Price things out,...the OddBall way involves lots of milk for calcium, Banana and peels for Sodium and a bunch of cases of vegetable soup, eggshells, so,... I do holes in the ground so it`s easier to leave it there and modify it seasonally. You`re gonna do a big batch.

I have friends to deal with this kind of machine...what a beast you have there!

It was a road crew,.. The city decided to build an access road around the lake I been using for a couple years,.. They started in Aug when my girls were growing fast and healthy.

That thing took the path, trees, dirt, big rocks, the hill,...everything. I came up on my grow site and they were about a week into it. Sucked. Driver prolly never saw my grow.

hello again Buddies

The dream got bigger and now everything is possible. So buddies, I'm aiming for more than 100 000€ project. I already have the land to do the project, more than i need, i have at my own disposal 2 hectares.

I have decided to add in the project :

1x Nursery & veg room
2x Blooming greenhouses (32 x 65 x 12) with a trail system to recreate the 12h-12h light cycle.
1x outdoor field (50 plants on 400-gallon pots)
1x Drying and Curing House
1x small office
1x Aluminium warehouse

as i said before, the climate here is very good all year long, so no worries about snow or anything like that, the worst it can get is -1ºC or - 2ºC. It doesn't rain a lot either, but we have loads of water thanks to one of the biggest dam systems in Europe. The climate is just like central spain, it can get very hot in the summer during the day and cold at night, and dry.

Now I have thousands of questions to you all m8s:

1- Do i really need lights for the blooming greenhouses? How many lights per greenhouse should i put there? air circulation? heating? C02?

2- I am clueless on how to build a good and inexpensive drying, curing and storage house.

Thanks for the support.
