Advice on walk-in closet grow

I was thinking about using sonagro lights for growing (4 plants-6 max) I was wondering what wattage should i use, what reflective material should i use for the walls, and what nutrients/fertilizers etc. should I use. Also what gallon pots should i use (I plan on topping and would like to keep them short and bushy)? Any advice would be appreciated...

i would suggest a 600 watt MH/HPS light (get a switchable ballast and the 2 bulbs). but youre going to need either a small AC unit in the closet, or a vented hood/possibly a carbon filter/fan/ducting to move all that heat out of the closet, and somewhere to put it. you'll also have to cut a hole in your closet door for this.

for reflective material, you could get mylar. i mean it all depends what your budget is. mylars about $20-$25 at your local hydro store
for beginners, start out with fox farm for soil AND nutes. its easy for beginners; the soil itself has nutrients to feed your plant 1-2 weeks; after that feed them nutrients at 1/4 strength as to foxfarm's directions.
pot size, I'd go with 3 gallon pots. If space is an issue, get 2 gallon ones.

good luck, have patience, and dont get discouraged. I killed my first crop of plants about 4 weeks into it. waited too long to transplant.
