Advice on plant in veg

Hello everyone, newbie first grow, Northern lights fem in soil under 135w led, day 29, I transplanted from 5lt pot to 15lt pot 4 days ago started some LST during that time as well and roots are already pushing out of the pot so soon! Do I have to repot again? I plan to veg for 4/5 weeks, in week 2 of veg and have a 30 Lt pot I was going to use when I flip to flower. Also some roots are protruding out the top of soil as well, I think because I've watered a couple of time only little amount so not thoroughly.

Can I keep her vegging in this pot for another couple weeks or do I have to transplant again so soon?

Thanks for any help, newbie here.

Don't transplant it again! Your plant looks nice.

That would stress it, and likely damage the roots that just started growing.

Just let it grow. If the roots hit the edges they will change direction just fine. You've got plenty of soil there to fill with roots.

I don't know how long you plan on vegging but next time I would probably go right into the 30lt when I transplanted. That way you only have to transplant once. Which should be less stressful to the plant.

You can also consider "up potting" if you have enough space height wise.

When I grew in soil I liked really using LST to spread the branches out and open the plant up. I ended up vegging for about 3 months one time. Training the plants to form into "manifolds" that each filled up with bud sites.

Cheers for that Thunder, I'm a newbie so I'm freaking out about roots protruding, I want to veg about 4-6 weeks total then flip but I'll decide closer to the time, had a couple hiccups along the way but she's doing alright it seems. I only got the 30lt as I was advised bigger is better to pot into for flower was going to just use 15lt.

So I can keep her in there for the next couple weeks of veg? She just started to show signs of pre flower tiny little pistils.

You plan on vegging that for 2 to 4 more weeks? How tall is your tent? Going to do any training?
I'm asking because if you veg that for 2 to 4 more weeks it is going to be a monster when you flip to 12/12 and it starts to stretch. A good rule of thumb is that a plant will double in height after flipped to flower so just make sure you are planning ahead for that.

My tent is 60x60x200, Ive already topped once and Im currently LSTing the colas, Im a newbie so Im open to what is the best course of action for a sweet simple successful grow :D
its been in Veg 2 weeks so far, I plan to flip in 2-3 weeks so start of Jan, or whenever shes showing signs of being ready. shes only about 12" tall right now, shes a short bushy little bugger

Like i said.. plan on the plant doubling in height. So figure out how much distance you have to work with. Keep in mind the space taken up at the top of the tent by lights and filters etc.

Will do thanks for the help Nano, I reckon I have another foot of space for her to grow still. Does is matter when you flip to flower? does there need to be specific development?

You can flip whenever. Waiting until the plant is physiologically ready to flower (3 to 4 weeks of veg time in my experience) will lead to a faster transition, but people actually run 12/12 from seed all the time. Just leads to smaller plants. Personally, with most strains i shoot for a 3 to 4 week veg. Any more than 4 weeks and my space gets totally overrun during flower.

The plant will definitely get 2-3x bigger once you switch your lights. It's important to plan for that. Excellent point nano.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll plan ahead, first grow so it's all new to me.
I want to grow an auto strain in soil after this photo, so I can get faster bud and try something new, I want to grow a sativa Dom auto or at least a hybrid, any suggestions? I was thinking of trying White widow.

I love white widow I grew it from cline for 4 years. FYI autos aren't much if any faster especially if you go sativa dominant. They auto flower, but they still take about the same time to grow. You just don't control the flowering stage.

Personally if you like sativa but want to grow indoors I love C99 from female seeds. Awesome fast sativa dom plants that still work well inside.

I think I might stick with feminized seeds then, Ill go white widow fem but the c99 looks great, short flowering time and sounds like what Im looking for, cheers again for the insider info ;)

I'm not anti auto FYI. They just have certain circumstances they work best.

I haven't read a bad review of the c99. I even used one of mine to breed with.

My only interest in autos was shorter time to harvest, and seemingly less maintenance if planted straight into final pots, but its a matter of a couple weeks difference to photos if in ideal environment.
Do you have a preference over white widow and c99? are they particularly dank smelling strains during veg/flower?
