Advice on first time grow, please help!

My grow room is about 4 feet wide 5 1/2 feet long and about 78 inches tall. I'm doing soil and hydro I have about 16 plants going in that space. I'm growing with one 600 watt mh light right now but will switch over to a hps 1000 watt around 4-5 weeks. Is this enough light? Should I add another? Also any feedback would be great. Thanks guys

you want roughly 100w per plant otherwise you aint gona yield much

Are you going to be able to move around in there enough to tend to the plants once they get big? Do have a fan circulating on the plants?

thats a massive first time grow. hope you learn alot. you can get a light mover maybe or just add another light.

first time grower shouldnt be trying to learn soil and hydro at the same time. i would do either soil, or hydro... and personally i select soil.

with soil, you still get big buds either way if grown correctly..

Yes the 1000w is just right but you have to exhaust the heat.

There's a fan in there you just can't see it. An there's a ventilation fan as well. It is a pain to get in there, most of my plants are feminized but I'm sure I may have 1-3 that turn out to be males so that will give me some more space. I'm just concerned about the comment that each plant needs atleast a hundred watts. I guess I'm going to have to add another light and get a bigger fan in there

Ok so I added another light one hps and one Mh both at 600 watts. Hope this makes a difference but doesn't give me heat problems
