Advice on DR60 grow tent

Hey!

I'm soon starting a 16 plant sog in Dr60 (2x2x5.3) ,400w hps in cool tube, 4' s&p fan (will not grow in summer so temps won't be a problem)

Strain will be critical mass. Once I get the best pheno that will be my mom I will clone it,0 or 1 week of veg then flowered.

Now the part where I need your advice.

What size pots should I use. I was thinking of 5.9x5.9x7.8 thats 0.89 gallon. With this size I could put them all in a 2x2 space but are they big enough for clones to be flowered as soon as they establish a good root system and not get root bound?

These small pots will probably have to be watered daily so I will need an dripping system that will water my plants automatically when I will be away for a few days. I've read about the wick system and the reservoar with a pump on a timer. What would be the most reliable and simple method to use so the plants won't dry out.

About the reservoar and pump.You put the little tubes around your pots, make holes where you want water to drip out and that is it? What about the ending,is it a dead end or does the tubing go back to the reservoar?

soil ......1 gallon is one month of growth time in the soil ............so after that u will be all up to u to feed and grow them the soil will have no power left

i know of this thing .................it is a 10 site bucket pump clip .............i have not gotten passed this point in my own researching ................the idea is to get a 6 gallon bucket tape the out up (no light leak alge) use that thing combined with a airstone and air pump (like a compost tea bucket)

if u have 2 u can do the numbers u were talking about .........................like to know what u think (i am currently in 3 gallon air bags but i have one plant needing water every 24 hours 32 oz with 3 more weeks on ripening then cut )

Thanks for the link justugh and sorry for the late respose. Didn't know they sell already made drippers with pump. After I saw your link I found a very similar but cheaper version.

Can anyone that has done SOG estimate what yield am I looking at (after I get a good mom and dial the things right)?

Have another dilemma about what size pots to use. Since the clones will be flowered at max 1 week of veg should I use

16 pots that are 0.9 gallon or
25 pots that are 0.63 gallon.

Would it be better to go with 25 plants? Every plant has 0.27 gal less space but there are 9 more.

Are there any SOG growers that could advise me with what setup can I yield the most?
