1st question, how?? It's literally been 3 and a half weeks into flower. I was preparing to feed nutrients to my 2 blue haze girls and after looking at the bigger one under my loupe, I realized that I've got a lot of amber going on.

I've done a bit of searching and nothing's come up...

Thoughts?? Ideas??? Should I chop after a flush???

I'm going to smoke this bowl and hope to have a few comments after.

Thanks!! :peace::peace::peace::peace::peace:

Hello Matt. Good looking healthy girls. Your girls still have a ways to go before they are ready. Though she stacked very nicely, she hasn't begun to swell yet. Those pistils will turn orange,red, or brown and start to recede. If you want, this is when you check the trichs. You want to check the trichs on the calyxs and not the sugar leaves.
I have no experience with your strain but I'm sure that haze needs at least 5+ more weeks.

Patience. Steady she goes.

What's up CoB! Thanks for the reply! That was my thought as well.. several more weeks however; I was always under the assump. that you look for amber on the leaves and as you can see there's a lot of amber going on... As a matter of fact, everything I've ever read says the trichs on the leaves... but I could be wrong...

Would love to get some input from some other members......

Cob nut is right, you do not want to judge ripeness by the trichomes on fan leaves. Always look at the trichs on the buds, and in a few places too. These plants look like they have a ways to go. But it looks like you're doing pretty good, just keep evening going the way you have been. Maybe drop your temps a little bit of you can, And a touch less N.

Yea, no problem. She is just a frost monster. The leaves will almost always have amber as some strains develop trich in vegs they mature as the plant does. Your plant is just getting started as far as budding is concerned. "early amber" is a term thrown around as well.Also, I'm not sure where you read to read the trichs on the leaves,that is incorrect. You aren't harvesting leaves. Got a link?

BUMP!!

Original title was bad.. To reiterate, I'm 3.5 weeks into FLOWER - not veg!

Advice much appreciated...

Thanks!

They have a ways to go, as everybody has said. Unless you’re just looking for somebody to tell you they are done?
This was my thought as well.. Weeks to go.. Then I saw all thr amber trichomes which brought me here.. Aleayd thought amber trichomes - especially that many it was time to chop... Guesd that's wrong...

Thanks for all the input, it's much appreciated!
