Hey There just have included some pics of my mother and cuttings mainly would like to know how u all think my cuttings are doin and shout me some advice as i think i need it where the cuttings are concerned.

I have a mini propergator which is at 80% sitting in the same room as the mother and is in shaded light. the light i use for the mother is a 400hps growlux bulb. for my cutings i have used root riot cubes and clonex purple not red as they didnt have clonex red i hear that clonex red is better. the cuttings have now been in the propergator for 5 days now and no roots popping put the sides is this normal how long do i expect to wait to get resluts and what is the best way.

Just need some pointers of how my mother is looking as she is 7 weeks old now and how my cuttings are looking and any pointers for the cuttings would be a great help as i really need to find a quick turn around for cuttings thanks for ur time wizard 1612

Mother looks great..what strain you got there?....Clones look droopy..Ive experienced this before but mine seem to firm back up in the first week....As for rooting Mine seem to take to rooting around days 9-14...Another trick i do with my mothers is to pull my light up a bit....to let those branches stretch...not to much just maybe geta couple inches outta them

I use Clonex purple, with Clonex solution for watering...and have had great succsess from my very first time taking cuttings...i usally get 10-11 rooted at least out of the 12 i take...I used The method described in jorge Cervantes indoor grow bible..My personal opinion is that cloning isnt as hard of a deal as it was made out to be when i first started...and that very well could be that my strain (NL) is very easily cloned..

Your clones are to branchy, and leafy. Clones do not have roots yet, so the plant is trying to create roots to support the plant. When you have all those giant fan leafs coming off the stem of your clone, its hard for the plant to support it. Remove those side fan leafs, and other excess leafs.

You want the plant to quickly be able to support its current structure, and then be able to start growing again.

Mr shropshire says, you needed to take more leaf off the cuttings thats why they are droopy! there first set of leaves in the pics the 1s hanging over the blocks, i would have cut them off! and cut the second 1s up half way along them so that they dont use to much water, haha you wont see anything in 5 days! it takes anywhere from 8-15 days before you could have roots! trust me, dont beleve what every 1 says to you on here! also your mother looks good BUT! the light is to close to her, thats why she is so big and short, if i were you i would chop the top out of her move the light away from her and make her bush and reach up to the light, this way it will make more clones and the plant will grow a better shape for the next batch of cuttings to be removed. good luck grass hopper
