Advice for the best HPS fixture on the market!

I have roughly a 700 square foot basement section that I want to use as my flowering room. Besides all the constructive work that I will need to do to enclose the basement. I would like to know what you guys think is the best hps fixture I could run. The ceilings are 8 foot high and I will be growing in hydro. I understand that gavitas will not be suitable enough as the ceilings are not tall enough. Money is not an issue with deciding the fixture and the basement is more rectangular than square. 70 plant sites is what I plan to do. Im looking for yield and quality of bud from the lights.

or should I not go with hps all together and use LED which is what I have in a small tent now

Thanks in advance

700 square feet is too large an area for LEDs. The cost would be astronomical over HID.

That's a lot of coverage needed. Def going to need a few 1000 watters

go with any high quality ballast and eye hortilux bulbs, double ended hps is more efficient than hps and puts out roughly 30% more light if I rember correctly

How short is the canopy going to be ? If the ceilings are 8 foot and 3 ft from the canopy plus the plants wont be on the ground
2 to 3 and a half feet.. However short they need to be to make it work. If I was lifting the table I'd use cinder blocks .

Drain to waste hydro with DE lamps of your choice. Flood trays just high enough off ground to put in a elbow or tee to drain out of the room. SOG style of growing, 25 plants per 3x3 of 36 per 4x4. No more than a week veg after cloning. Plants will grow to 1.5-2.5 ft leaving you plenty of head space. Each plant should yield roughly an oz. Setup a good drip system and if you have the money a doser for the Rez. Put a float valve on the Rez, doser for nutrient/ph and a timer for your desired feed schedule and you're almost fully automated.
