Advice for Sealed Grow Room

Hi Guys,

This is gonna be my 2nd try to grow, since the first try was a complete failure.
the problem was, and still is the Temp and Humidity in place where I live, I live somewhere in Asia.
The temp here is around 26-32 Celcius in average, and humidity is around 90%.

So I decided to make all new setup, you can have a look at the picture I attached.
the points of the room are :
- Sealed 2.5m x 2m Room
- Co2 Tank
- Portable Air Conditioned 800W 9000Btu (act as a cooler and dehumidifier)
- 560 Watt LED Lights
- Hydrophonic System

and you can look at the picture for the rest.
I forget to put the fans in the picture, but i will.

My question are :
- What do you think about the AC, is it enough for that 2mx2.5m Room?
- Would 6 plants fit in that room?
- How much CO2 i need?
- What kind of Fluoresence lights do i need to keep the mother plant alive?

and guys, just give me some advice if you have any, I'm really is an amateur

THANK YOU!

Go with a mini-split AC with heat pump. you may still need a dehumidifier.
It's kinda impossible to get split AC, since I'm hiding the grow room, and a split AC needs a compressor somewhere open.
What I mean is that I need to hide everything, the compressor could raise some questions.
However, why do you think I need Mini-Split AC? what's the major diffferences with the portable one?
And about the dehumidifier, I will buy that
Thanks tho

well, if you will place the entire AC and compressor inside, you will end up heating the room instead of cooling it. you can fit well over 6 plants in that area. you can go with regular daylight shoplights, or you can get LEDs or T5, T8...

Whats on the other end of the wall where the a/c is mounted?

9k is enough for that setup.

c02 would probably need to stay near ambient levels with that light panel in a room that size and especially if its a window A/C that hasnt been modified to be leak free.

Depending on how jam packed the room is full of plants and the type of lights, you may need to remove or add moisture in the air.
For example, I use a humidifier because my RH drops below 40 with the lights on, if i doubled my plant count i might need a dehumidifier instead.

Most portable air conditioners exchange air, better off with window unit (they can sometimes leak air out as well) or a mini split.

I use a portable AC, so I feel I must ask a few important questions...

Where is that thing exhausting? Thats hot humid air that has to go somewhere...

How will you control the smell of that exhaust?

If you go that route, you will need to Macgyver some kind of ghetto filter on the intake of the portable AC...

(That and... wtf is hydrophonics? That... would be using underwater audio signals to stimulate plant growth?) [Assuming you mean hydroponics, in which case, is it a RDWC? (recirculating deep water culture) wherein the one res feeds the 4-6 grow pots via a pump thats constantly flowing the water? Or independent DWC (bubble buckets) and the res is just a big res of water.... (in which case, get it outside the tent, or put a chiller coil in it)]

I also live in a very humid area.. When doing hydro I had a hell of a time with PM and bud rot.. I was also battling high temps and adding a dehumidifier raised them.. Finally I went to soil, this dropped the rh by 10% ... must be evaporation..

.Sounds like your using the wrong portable for a sealed room, you need the port ac that has dual tubes. Single tube exhausts room air, dual tube has 1 tube as an intake and the second exhausts, works like a split.

Deffo gonna need a dehu, can't rely on the AC to do it all, especially with your high ambient RH.
