Advice and Comments PLEASE! Our babies at 19 days flowering

Hey everyone!!Our babies are at 19 days flowering under 250w MH and one 200w CFL coming from the side to help the bottom foliage. ALL advice and comments would be great to let us know how we are doing and if there is anything we can do to better our grow. We have grown completely organic and just recently started adding molasses once a week and Buddah Bloom by Roots Organics in their nutes. They had already budded before we started using the molasses and Buddah Bloom but since we have added the new stuff our babies have crystals all over! we have read much about the HPS over MH dilemma. Through the research we have done, we are going to stick with the MH. we dont have the leeway in temperature rise in our grow space for one thing. also a conversion bulb for HPS only puts out 25000 lumens, whereas our MH is putting off a strong 22000.

In our opinion, the small difference isnt worth the hefty pricetag especially since we our growing for a larger yield. We have read that the HPS will increase the grow speed, as well as overall flowering time however that it will reduce the final yield.

MH takes a bit longer but studies have shown that recently more ppl have stopped using HPS and used MH through the whole grow which produced denser buds and larger yields.

whats your favorite strain? any that thrive inside? particularly in a small space?

no problem on the info. at first we were going to purchase an hps because we didnt know any better, and hadnt done any research. once we looked up the specifications of the two.....and sifted through much blog talk/discussion for the good info, we found out that the difference for our wattage 250 watts, would be unnoticeable, and if anything the results for our expectation....would be negative.

hmmmmmmmm......i've heard hps from start to finish but never Mh. I've got both and i know during the veg stage the plants are thicker and you get alot more veg growth using an HPS. For me the difference is like night and day.. My MH is actually sittin in the corner not being used because of the difference i saw. Interesting. Looks good for 19 days. I've heard that the flowers from MH are "fluffy".....keep us posted.

For sure we will let you know how it goes and if they ended up fluffy or dense We did exstensive research to deceide that we want to use MH through the whole grow and not swtich to HPS. We are really excited to see how this grow turns out, and MH is known to produce a larger yield than HPS it just takes a lil longer to grow. But we love weed n everything about it so we love to learn about its culture and how it grows. Are you currently growing?

Yeah i am.....this will be my 3rd. I started using mh to veg and hps for 12/12 but noticed i was getting a denser veg with straight hps. your plants look great though, i'm interested to see the end result. one guy in here used cfl's only and his babies are beautiful.(mr.fishy, check his pics) so i think the "light" issue is kinda like the nute issue. you don't need expensive lights or nutes to make beautiful babies. gonna include some pics of mine....each one under a 250w hps from day one and nothing but 1/2 to 3/4 strength miracle grow products for nutes. you'll see lots of people saying mg products will har your plants....probably those with a vested interest in a "nute" company. whatever you do don't let the alarmists out there get to you....some people in here make it sound a whole lot harder than it is. The pics are of my g13 and bubblegums 1-2 and 3 and 4 is a clone from a Ketama Xoen i let veg waaaay to long.

Your plants look great!!! How big of a space are you growing in? We have looked at those pics and it is amazing what CFL's and Flo's can do, they are so inexpensive and don't put off much heat. How big of a yield are you expecting from your babies? We are hoping for at least a few O's but you never know. We just ordered some seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl 10 pack THC Bomb and got a free 5 pack of Afgahn, have u had any experience with either strains? Good luck on your current grow, let us know how it turns out. We have heard really good things about G13.

good deal my friend. those babies look sweeeeet. Triching up very nicely. Good choice of seed banks....i use nl alot. never tried the "bomb", but the 5 free hindu kush are very good for free seed. has a very heavy, earthy aroma to it when its finished. nice buzz and clones very easily. i hope to get 2-3 o's each from my white strains, they're about 2 feet tall but i may get more. the clones are close to 5' so i'm thinking at least 4-5 o's once dried and cured. of the 3 clones 1 is a hindu kush and another a big bud clone, both from nl. you'll be suprised at how fast you get your seed...usually get mine in 10days or less. this is my first attempt at "white" strains.(G13-Widow-Snow White and Wonder Woman)and the difference in appearance is amazing. Still have 2+ weeks to go but they're glistening with sticky white trichs. Worth the few extra $ for sure. My room is an old coal room appx 40x10.

Hey, yeah this will be our first time growing the "bomb." We are really excited tho we almost went with either the white widow or the medical white rino. Ice looked awesome but we can't do any tall plants . We deceided to grow just indica for awhile and sometimes indica/sativa mixes do you grow both? I would assume you have enough space to grow tall plants.

Everyone has said that they got their seeds from nl in like 10 days too. The site says the maximum is like a couple weeks but we were just happy to get a shipment verification. Now just pray that the stupid U.S. doesn't intercept it!!

Sounds like you are gonna have a nice outcome. You must be dying to smoke your babies haha. The smell is making us drool lol but we are strong enough to hold out for 1 more month. Lucky you, only 2 weeks.

I've had similar experience; however, your plants look spectacular. I don,t blame you for not wishing to change, although you might consider adding some "warm" CFL's. I'd hate to deal with the jungle you'd have at this point w/ an HPS! Just sayin'..
