Well it seems that i can add photos to my album (its says there's a 1000 pic limit) but i cant upload to my gallery.
So here's the other one I took the other day that it didn't let me post.
Middle and right side = 7weeks 12/12, the one on the left has been 4 weeks 12/12

2 @ 8 weeks, 1 @ 5 weeks, and 1 @ 3 weeks.
I think you can tell which is which lol
I'm trying out a different method of posting pics....

This one with 3 heads was topped with Uncle Bens Topping Technique for 4 colas, but then I cut off one of the tops leaving 3. I really like this one. I'm going to do this (3 top method) again for sure. I'll do UBTT and then cut and clone the 4th top.

did you use molasses?
Yup. Once during veg I put 1.5 TBLS per gallon and bubbled it with an airstone for a day and a half. Same thing once or twice in flower. Its definitely beneficial. I could probably use it more but I'm havin success so...a couple of applications per grow is all I do.

hi,
what size of hps, because you have some serious kronic here for ONLY cfls :-)
I have 400w HPS. You say "only" like CFL's aren't that great. LOL
CFL's are better than most people think.
Ed Rosenthal (perhaps you've heard of him?) says this about CFL's and HPS.
QUOTE["Most of the light emitted by HPS lamps is in the yellow spectrum. Only a small amount of the emitted light is is in the orange or red spectrums, which plants use efficiently. Warm white fluorescents (2700 Kelvin) emit a greater portion in the red and orange sectors.
Although fluorescents produce only about 75% of the light per watt that the HPS does, the amount of light usable by the plant is equal or probably higher with the fluorescents.]"
If electricity was free I'd use all CFL's because the light they put out is better than HPS.

9 weeks for my 2 oldest. Barely 50% of hairs have turned orange. probably 2 more weeks to go. Thats the thing with bagseed. You never know what you have or how long it will take. i didn't think the indica (#5 with LST) would take this long, but its still getting fatter so thats cool. Even though the long weekend emptied my last jar. :-(
I'm not real happy about #9 (4 headed monster). Its got nice buds, 4 strong colas, but its holding really light on trichomes. Looks a lot like a plant i grew my first grow. That one didn't turn out to be very potent at all. It was better than nothing, but kinda crappy. Hmmm, come to think of it, that plant was in pot #9 too.??? Ok I'm retiring that particular pot LOL.
Everything else I've grown has been great.
The 3 lattest additions (#0 has 3 tops, #1 has 4 tops, #2 has 6 tops) are all 4 weeks 12/12, and doing really good. Most of my bagseed plants so far have been indica and indica dominate hybrids. but these 3 are definitely more on the sativa side. Wicked tall with skinny ass leaves. the 2 tallest ones almost outgrew the tent, but they've stopped their initial flowering stretch and are just filling in now. Whew! I've got a feeling that those 3 will take forever to finish. Cant wait! We likes a sativa high!bongsmilie
Started looking at trichs.....more cloudy than i though they'd be by the looks of the hairs. Its about 50% clear 50% cloudy. I did see a very few small amber trichs. And i clipped a few small nugs off the bottom of 22 and 9. Will test drive those at the end of the week.

Went in to check some trichs on my 2 plants @9 1/2 weeks and noticed some fuzz on the surface on a few of the lower leaves on my plant with the biggest buds. FUCKING MOLD!:cuss::wall:
I had a little bud rot at the end of my 1st grow so I know what to look for. Sure enough, upon inspection of the main cola i could see some brown fuzz in there. I almost knew this was going to happen. So i had no choice but to cut the cola off.
I cut it off and cut it in half. There it was. Bud rot in the middle of the bud. Its not nearly as bad as it was the 1st time. But it still sucks ass. i chopped up the bud and tossed out the nasty bits. What i threw out probably would have been about 1/4 oz dry so not too bad. I lost at least half an oz. the 1st time this happened. The rest is in the nugget hammock i made out of window screen to dry buds too small to hang. Looks like there will be 1/2 an oz. there easily.
Here's a shot of the bud before I chopped it up. you can see a couple of small yellow leaves sticking out near the top. Well, this plant got real tall real fast and ended up being to close to the light. A few of those little leaves sticking out on top dryed up and died I guess. This is what invited the mold to have a party in my bud. It probably had 10-15 days left to go.

For some good news......
I took a shot of these two while they were out of the tent as I worked on the moldy one. Fuck that hurts just to type it... "the moldy one" Ouch!

These two have been 12/12 for 33 days.

Not sure about the gallery, but I use photobucket, and just post full size images in my threads.. Just a thought..

Hey can you see that pics on that previous post now? This morning, I could only see one pic and the other pic had the red X. But now they're both there...? I upload these my pics to my ALBUM now. It says there's a 1000 pic limit there. But my GALLERY pics i can just copy and paste and you can still enlarge them so i wish i could still do that. Cant do that with the pics from my album for some reason.
Thanks for the photobucket idea ,but I'm not really down with that.
bongsmilie I've been on Vacation. I'm gonna try to post some pics tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
:peace:

Before and after pictures. Seven weeks 12/12 for these two. 4-5 weeks left I would guess.

The one with 3 tops isn't doing as well as the others. It's growth has slowed and its green has faded to a kind of golden color, and some hairs have prematurely darkened. My theory here is too much phosphorus interfering with zinc assimilation. Between the bone meal and the bat guano I'm pretty sure I overdid it with the P. It's only affecting the one plant though so its not too bad of a situation. This plant is very similar to the other two, but it is a different strain. (all bagseed). I flushed it last week and the leaves have since curled down. The color was unaffected, but there is more new growth now.

The other news is that one of my clones rooted (in a cup of starter mix) and so I've put my mom into the flower tent. But first i cut 3 more clones and have put them into Rapid Rooters. The rapid rooters stayed nice and moist for three days while I was on vacation. I was a little worried they would dry out. I have them in shot glasses with a little water in the bottom and they are in a dome.
#5 (the LST plant @ 86 days 12/12) and #9 (4 headed monster @ 67 days 12/12) are both almost ready to harvest. They're both mostly cloudy with a few amber's just starting to show.
This one is dried and curing. It produced right about 2 oz. Early harvest due to mold. The weed is kick-ass though!

I'll update again when i harvest the next two. Should be in a week or so.
Also i just put 2 seeds in water and will plant them tomorrow. These seeds are the same as the ones that produced the above plants. I'm exited to be sprouting seeds that I know what they will grow into.

Tomorrow would have been 13 weeks, and this is an indica so....
Today was the day. She's upside down now, and she has been relieved of her roots. Won't be needing those were she's going. Although some people do dry 'em with the roots still on.....
I'd say only about 1 or 2 % amber on the trichs and not the 10-15 % i was waiting for but she started making bananas and the look of her (other than the trichs) was a look of ripeness.
This is the plant that had some LST as a child. It was bent over (spanked) and tied down just once, then I let it grow up normal. The result was a main trunk with 3 branches. it would have been 4 branches, 2 from each of 2 nodes, but i snipped off the one on the backside which would have been a runt.
Sorry about the sideways ones...I fucked up.

I've got another one to harvest any day now.
It was topped using Uncle Bens method for 4 colas. Its been flowering 10 weeks now.
