I wold like to suggest that you spread the LIGHTS around the plants...

CFL penetration is so POOR... and taking half those lights and using it as side lighting may significantly increase the yield... just a suggestion... not a dig...

BUT if you do get upset at my suggestion... I suggest you suck a bag a dicks.. you fooking KAK SMACKER

these 3 plants gave 8 ounces.. were vegged for 15 days... and 8- 42 watt cfls were used in the grow..

and see there you have it hs the person above has put it there are much better growers out there that bring home much bigger yields you cant add up the watts i am using and think you can predetermin my yield there are other things toi consider for me the big thing is a good reflector the right kelvin spectrum and the right amount of lumens per watt i have said it a hundred timed the high wattage CFL's get much less lumens per watt just read above the person pulled 8OZ from 8 42 watt lights i think the proof is in the puding i think it is funny that when the people guess at what they think my yield should be and if i even dare to type any other numbers then it must be bullshit a few of us got togather last nigh and had a good laugh at that one thanks every one for your help and support i will go silent for a bit now i have been posting my ass off on this and many other sites but one last plug [email protected] e-mail him and he will respond the light has done wonders for me and it is cost efective.

actually the yield posted only claims 1.5 grams per watt, what you claim is 2.8 grams per watt so your twice the grower they are

Mr. Knowm...or anyone who is qualified for that matter...could you achieve the roughly 3 plants @ 8 oz with 8-42's in a scrog setup instead of surrounding the plants?

I was thinking that perhaps penetration wouldn't be as much of an issue since you are only worried about the very top anyway.

you keep using the wrong math its not grams per watt like HPS and MH this is CFL and it's about lumens per watt CFL lumens per watt are not considered the same way when buying or building a CFL system then say HPS IE the most watts = the most lumens. more bulbs at a lower wattage produce more lumens for example 3 200 watt bulbs would equate to 30,000 lumens with 600 watts/14 bulbs at 42 watts equates to 40,000 lumens at 588 watts and they have better bulbs then that in CFL's its in the kelvin rating and lumens per watt that makes or brakes the crop they work so bash it if you need to but the math is pretty clear any way good strains and good nuts and some experence and you can produce as we have seen on this site pretty good dank

also you say you grow ak48 and ice niether are amazing yielders which adds more doubt to your bogus claims and small bud pictures. maybe if you were growing chronic by serious seeds or the hog which claim about 600 grams per m2, but ak47 by serious only claims 350 grams per m2 and nirvana based ak48 off that, 80,000 lumens isnt even close to a 600w or 1000w which offer up to 150,000 lumens which would be plenty more and you don't metion co2 and 42oz which you claim would be 1176 grams which is twice what even the breeder could produce of way higher yielding strains and way more space then your 18 cfl's could even come close to covering so tell me how 18 cfl's cover 4 square meters and out produce higher lumen hps mh lights which also have better kelvin regardless of what you say

look HPS dose not have a better kelvin rating but like you said in you opinion it dose and what ever the rating is you are stuck with that do the math and look at other post 80,000 lumens is plenty to grow 15-20 plants of course using airoponics will produce bigger yields the above mentioned lumens is equil to 2 400 watt HPS lights which only has 90,000 initial lumens after about 100-500 hours of use keep in mind 12x60=720 the equivlent of one flowering cycle 60days at 12 hours each day brings the lumens down to 75,000-85,000 lumens for your precious HPS you are such a hatter and i sure am getting tired of doing your homework for you look i am a journeyman machine tool rebuilder and a journeyman electriction a profesional and i think we are on two diffrent levels you keep saying 18 lights because you saw a picture i posted for example purpose this unit can go as high as 1400 watts and only pull 12.1 amps with no ballast in series what i said was this light has the ability to grow 14 plants i never spoke of the bulb configureation just as an example let me say this and i hope this is the end of it for you i know it is for me so listen good




35 bulbs at 42 watts is 1470 watts well with in the operating range of this hood and that would creat 105,000 lumens and you say that is not enough to bloom 14 plants wow look 80,000 lumens is enough for 14 plants let alone 105,000 lumens of what ever kelvin rating you want.
