Hi all,

Sounds like a self explanatory question, but before i found out about advanced nutrients ph perfect coco i brought some of the plain ph perfect range.

After doing some searching i found a couple of people using it in coco before the new version came about.

And i was just wondering how would be the best way to use it?.

Should i just pre charge the coco with the grow nutes + cal/mag at 1/4 and then just bump up the grow nutes through veg. Or should i use both throughout the grow?

Always grew in soil and fancied a change. Now its a whole load of learning again :o:wall::dunce::cuss:

Thanks for looking

So you are growing in coco and have non coco nutrients?

Just add some cal/mag to your nutrient solution and maintain it through the grow.
Coco nutrients usually have a bit more cal and mag and a bit less K but not in all ranges, everyone likes to pretend their NPK ratio is better than the next company. They all do much the same.

Yeah now it sounds stupid lol. When searching for nutes i came across the ph perfect range and it said it works in all mediums. So i thought if it does ph then 2 for 1 really.. Got the nutes and whwn looking for a feeding schedule i found the coco specific version. Slap in the face for me but they are at the site now and i was worried about having too much potassium because coco already has a fair bit. Do you think it will be too mu h with the nutes and the coco?, thanks for the reply :bigjoint:

The nutrients you have should be fine; just be sure you're feeding all the necessary elements the plant needs for a healthy life. It does not need to be 'coco' specific per se. Simply follow the rules as they pertain to growing in coco and you should be fine.
