I use subcool's super soil with cal mag, nirvana, and organic B

when I don't mix soil, I use Connoisseur bloom

interesting read indeed, once I learned to skip over all the bullshit anyways....
I got a couple comments, I got no problem using ph perfect connoisseur lineup,
You should be aware that the ph perfect is made to be used with ro water.
Dont go out and buy a pre packaged lineup, pick and choose your nutes wisely.
I don't use (voodoo juice) beneficial bacteria in my DWC at all especially at $100 a liter.

Also on the topic of molasses that was touched upon here, its also a great chelating agent....
Meaning in the simplest of terms, that it takes nutrients that are having a hard time being injested
up the roots and basically gives them a piggy back ride, up into the plant.
Fore those of you doing hydro, you can get molasses in powder form at most hydro stores.

my nute line up is as follows:
Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Powder,
Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Connoisseur Bloom Part A+B Soil Amendments,
Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Connoisseur Grow 2 Part A&B
Advanced Nutrients Sensizym Fertilizer,
Advanced Nutrients B-52 Fertilizer Booster,
Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin Fertilizer,
General Hydroponics CaliMagic for Gardening,

what nutrients do you use?
I'm using MiracleGro - Tomato right now, just to demonstrate proprietary "lineups" aren't necessary (do something that new growers can repeat). Nothing else.

I usually use Grow More - Sea Grow with a 4-5 supplements.

All I do is keep my eye on the NPK ratio. I think that's the key to getting out of the boutique "lineups." Those proprietary schedules lock you into a pre-made ratio that you are ignorant of. I made this spreadsheet to unwind the NPK ratios which result from mystery schedules. Then recreate those ratios using, literally, anything.

Growing became much more fun that way. It promotes reading your plant instead of reading a schedule. It keeps you in touch with what you're actually feeding, not "5ml of tinkle juice, 3ml of dirty sanchez." It's less expensive... What's not to like?

I have had a few friends in the past who used MiracleGrow in their guerrilla grows. Sometimes guano and castings. MG is so easy to use and actually works. BUDGET growing.

At the end of the budding phase, ~4 weeks out from harvest, Ill switch to Vegamatrix for an organic nute run till flush. Flush starts with H2O, enzymes, beneficials, and sometimes Botanicare Clearex or Drip clean. The organics toward the end were, in theory, to help with added smells/tastes and also to make the flush more effective. Adding the enzymes and beneficials help with chelation and get the rest of the nutrients in the soil used up. The last 2 weeks is just flush with water...(condensate water - <10ppm - close to R/O)

In my homestead garden growing up we had about an acre of vegetables and fruits growing. Miracle Grow was what my parents used. We had amazing natural soil though that we mixed normal compost in with the natural soil. MG they used toward the ends of the fruiting phase to help boost the plants and also helped with insect control. Marigolds are a great way to deter pests from getting at your garden as well.

Myself and friends definitely noticed a taste difference when I switched from GH Flora 3-part to the Grow More Sea Grow (linked in above post). It's like a blend of synthetic and organic, and then I supplement with some organic'y things through the grow to help the soil. The taste difference is noticeable. Smooth/rich/deep. Not the bright/sharp notes which aren't bad, but can be rough on the throat.

I like it because it's the best of both worlds. Organics without composting a soil for 3-4 months. The immediacy of synthetics with the soil-friendly organic contributions.

I have noticed that medications that were not flushed correctly tend be harsh and need to be burned longer and don't hold a "cherry". Outdoor is close but that outdoor, totally different from indoor. Organics are great but the yields take time to dial in but the last/smells are louder. Vegamatrix will be phased out in my grow. It is weak, the dosing is way too low according to their dosing chart so there was a need to purchase more. So in the end Vegamatrix will be no more for me. Staying with Conno for now because of the price i pay for a 23L AN - Connoisseur Bloom Part A $174.80 ($7.61/Liter)

Has anyone used feed store (horses) grade molasses? It is super cheap and way more concentrated. Currently using Earth Juice Hi-Brix Molasses (0-0-3) 5 gallon @$35.74. Using it since its a decent price and already diluted with water so it is easier to mix.

Sea Grow?
It's explained in the link I gave in my prior reply.

It's a nice blend of organic and synthetic (and I supplement with more organic sources). I think it's Grow More's version of MaxSea, but less expensive. Good taste and I haven't noticed a decline in yield compared to GH Flora 3-part.

A fellow is following a similar schedule as mine, on his second grow. You can see how his plants look.

I harvested this under 21w/sq ft of Cree LED "lightbulbs" using my Sea Grow schedule:

It's so inexpensive, you should try it sometime. It would be interesting to hear how it compares to what you've done.

He's not telling stories. The owner likes to diddle kids and was charged for it.

I was in a hydro shop yesterday and brought it up. Dude told me that they sold to a new owner.

Just because the owner gave the business to a friend doesn't erase what he did.

The owner of AN is a child molester. If your OK supporting that, then I don't know what to say.
They bought him out years ago man get yo shit straight
