Advanced Growers Enter - A Polinated Female, Or ?

Hey Peeps,
I'm writing for a friend who called me up and wanted some answers, to him I have become somewhat of an expert (after reading so much on this forum) although I am far from it compared to some on here. His question rather baffled me, although I am leaning toward a successfully polinated female....read on.

He started with 3 and is left with two "confirmed females" I have see them myself so I know thier female ie. white pistils, buds, and sweet smelling and looking colas. Here's the dilema...at the start of his grow he said he actually wanted a male for breeding and he got just what he asked for, before the females were put into 12/12 and before they had any bud (obviously) 1 of the 3 started producing balls, balls like me and you (if your male) but he left it in there a while as he only has one grow room (lights, environment etc) as I stated before he wanted a male for breeding as such to collect pollen from the balls of the male, so he left it in for a week or so after the first signs and a few of the balls opened up and released pollen. But this was before the females had any bud.

So now hes about 6 weeks in, and the question was asked....he has huge calyx type things that look like seeds forming but with a pistil or two shooting out, but 1. They are not like the male balls and 2. they are only on certain points of the branch one at a time, ie not in the actual bud and not in groups.

I had always thought (no proof) that seeds were produced in the actual bud, not on the branches or is that just for hermie plants, as I'm sure we have all had seeded weed and for the most part its damn shit.

He said he took one of these seed type things off and it was green like a seed and when squeezed he saw the white embryo part of a seed.

Has he got what he wanted, a successfully polinated female, or is this a dank as hermie, remebering it totally looks and has acted like a female; Colas, smell, pistils etc.

What's your opinions?

Oh one last thing, the male the pollen came from was someting special, it started of very stout, small but not that branchy, after about node 7-10 it shot up and it formed tri leaves, so again what the.....usually the tri plants turn into normal bi ones don't they?

Thanks peeps :):peace::joint:

it's normal. sounds like a pollinated preflower. the seeds develop within the calyxes. what he found was a premature seed. they need a few more weeks to ripen. leave them on until the buds are ripe.

Thanks again for the confirmation, what exactly do you do with the seeds when you harvest? Leave them on to dry with the bud, then they are ready to plant?

Thanks in advance for any replies. :peace:
