Add Cal-Mag to a mixed res..?

I've got a calcium deficiency for the first time since I started growing, just in the one strain. I’m getting some cal-mag tomorrow but I’m not sure if I can just add it to my existing mixed res..? I run DTW. Is it better to wait until I mix fresh one to add it? If so is there a specific order in which to add it..? Before or after my usual GH nutes?

This run is going well and I don’t want to mess it up by making an unnecessary mistake..

Thanks guys

Calmag first then base nutes. As far as mixing in existing res, it will mess with the ph of it. Would it be possible to just start the res over? how many gallons we talking here.

It’s a 40 gallon res but it’s due for a refill tomorrow so I’ll just wait until then.. thanks for the info - at least I know now to add the Cal-Mag first..

I usually shoot for 150 to 250 ppm calmag depending how big the girls are, I'm assuming u have a ppm/ec pen and a pH meter. When I was running dwc I had to stay on top of pH or shit would get out of hand quick - first signs of pH trouble would mimic calmag deficiency

When you say you shoot for 150-200 PPM of cal-mag, how do you dial in on knowing what 150-200 PPM is without adding-testing adding-testing repeat until desired ppm?
