I was in the Hydro store yesterday buying nutes. I had seriously considered getting into the AN pH perfect line, but I could not buy into it. Sure they have a bottle with a little juice for whatever you may need, but it is all marketing and hype. There are endless alternatives that do the same thing for less $. I will be giving Heavy 16 a run. Organic, pH buffers, simple, and brewed not far from me.

How about H16 base nutes? Im told those are best on the market today...

I will of course do my own research, but do like suggestions and a good starting point.

I am germinating the batch that is going to get the H16, so I can not tell you anything first hand. I like that from what it looks like if I have deficiencies I could correct them by adjusting the ratio of part a or b.

People buy things thinking there gonna get the best yielding, smelling and potenet pot when they dont know how to use so many products for there grow. They foreget they only need certain products for certain times in the grow. They over nute and create lockouts and start to complaing. U should start with the basics and work ur way up. I found out its all about the npk with micros and macra at specific rations during ur grow to be sucessful. Keep it simple and u will dial in the yield and potency.

Here is a thread from Homebrewer who did a side by side comparison. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/429438-dyna-gro-vs-advanced-nutrients.html , https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/358562-dyna-gro-vs-general-hydroponics.html. I haven't used AN so I can't say either way in regards to the AN products good or bad. The best thing to do is your own research, like Sir Ganga said knowledge is key. I hope this helps. Happy Growing!
Advanced nutes seems to be a not bad nutrient like anything else there hasbin some bad rep on the product but like anything else its political hard for any company to jump right in also to do a right comparison between products you might need a better dialed in rooms not trolling homebrewer but from looking at a few pics of the comparison one tends to think how dialed in are the rooms there are good growers then there are pro growers by the way day 32 flower half way looking at them nooblet buds from brewers grow well there is no comparison

I'm not trying to grow the dankest shit in all the land, so I will probably give dyna-gro a shot for flower (not saying DG can't do as well/better). Right now I'm just using GH FloraNova Grow in DWC. I don't have any bloom nutes though, so will probably just go with DG. Maybe if I had a shit ton of money to blow and was going to carefully monitor/control everything like CO2, temps, etc etc AN might be worth a shot. But it's not for me. Pretty sure I would get very similar results either way, so I'll just go with whatever saves me a couple hundred bucks.

I'd recommend floranova Bloom and while you may not be growing in a science lab, there is never a need to spend big $$$ on mineral salts dissolved in water. Salts are salts, look at the mineral content, the ratios, learn to read a plant, it really is an easy process assuming you're already providing a good environment and a stable hydro system.
