Acronyms

I see all these abbreviations and I have no idea what they stand for. Anyone? SOG, = with me owing a boat, means, Speed Over Ground on my GPS(global positioning service) vs SOW = speed over water. COG = course over ground etc etc

SO now I come into this phocked up world, and I have to learn all over again, just to be able to understand what others are taking for granted never mind learning to grow.

DWC, SOG, SOB etc, what do they mean?

I have a recirculating system, what is that called? lol.
