I made the mistake of purchasing some clones from Acme smoke in the springs.

Upon getting home they appear to have mite and pm problems. The I looked at the clones on the store but not good enough. I think they intentionally keep the lights in the store low so you wont noticed the fucked up plants they are selling.

For a first time clone purchase,I was extremely disappointed. Am I wrong to feel like most of these shops are just passing off low quality garbage to make a quick buck?

You are not wrong at all, I would bring them back and ask for my money back, who wants infested clones?

yea the whole ACME empier lol is known as really shady.
20$ per gram for there greenhouse weed grown in ridgway.... bland .

They are an hour away, so I called them as soon as I got home and noticed the issues. They will not exchange or return them since the plants were taken out of the building.

yea, it really makes me mad. Now I'm going to have to either nurse these back to health or throw them in the garbage and just eat the loss.Thankfully I have no other plants going right now that are in danger. I checked around and the majority of reviews they got seemed ok. We really need an unbiased review site for the cannabis stores both med and rec. Weedmaps and leafly are just payed advertising.

couldnt agree with your more... so frustrating to go on weedmaps and see all these places with nothing but sweet reviews, all the negative ones get flagged by the dispensary and weedmaps has no problem pulling them off.

Removing bad reviews is one of the perks of being a payed advertiser. I spoke with another dispensary who decided to stop paying them and they can no longer remove negative post or update their menu on weedmaps.

I've also purchased a half dozen clones from there but also brought home spider mites with them. Luckily I had them in quarantine and just trashed the 5 infected plants and treated the chemdawg I still have to this day.

The clones I brought home had no signs of infestation but a week later they had signs everywhere. Never had them before or after knock on wood but I'm so thankful for quarantine area or I would have raised hell.

Acme healing center has locations in ridgeway, created butte, durango, and Carbondale. Is that where you got bad herb?

After consideration I just ended up trashing them before they have a chance to leave enough eggs to fuck up future generations.
All I saw was what appeared to be eggs on the leaf bottoms and damage on the leaves but no adults or webbing. I'm guessing the dispensary was keeping them sprayed with something that would get rid of adults. If that's the case then hopefully any future issues have been prevented. I'm still going to bleach the grow too though for piece of mind.

It was my fault, I think that's what sucks the most. I knew better but trusted the shop anyway. Never again. I've always made it a rule never to bring plants inside from anywhere and only used seed or my own cuttings. Now I remember why.

Acme smoked is bullshit overall

They can burn down in shame. Terrible strain profiles, over priced and shady as hell.

They'll lock the doors behind you and keep some distance behind the counter as if they expect you to snatch a jar and run out the door. Maybe that's why they felt uncomfortable and asked me for two iD's.

If there is a fire or emergency while you're in acme smoke most likely you're screwed as the budtrnder has to put in the door open code... Every time... and they take your card and id holding onto it until u leave

Acme smoke = terrible. I bought 3 clones there when I first started growing and that was a mistake. The shop seemed shady too. I guess live an learn
