In a lawsuit to be filed on Wednesday morning, the ACLU seeks to hold "senior military and CIA officials," the ACLU liable for the "wrongful deaths" of Anwar al-Awlaki, his son Abdulrahman al-Awlaki (above), and Samir Khan. "It's not seeking an injunction for something that might happen in the future," says a defense lawyer, "but accountability for something that has happened already."
I happen to agree that murders should be held accountable regardless of title, status, or the reason, there must be a fair and equal trial for any moral wrong.
