Acclimating cannabis plants to the sun

Ok so today its 55 degrees and its blazing hot on my back deck, the weather for the next 2 to 3 weeks will be in consistent fluctuating from 50s to 40s so I dont want to put them out this week but I'm wondering if it's ok to just give them a hour or two of sunlight? I gave them 4 hours of direct sunlight last week when it was nice out and they burned alittle bit but they loved the sun... so long story short would it be ok to put them out for acouple hours even tho they won't be permanently outside for another 4 weeks ?

Google "How to harden off plants" and you'll easily find how to do this properly. But, in short, you want to start them off in shaded areas and not start them under direct sunlight.

are these seeds or clones?...

I look for a stretch of days after May 5-10th or so, that it looks like it'll be partly cloudy not hot sunny days, best case scenario is like 50/50 sun during those days.Then they should be fine. I keep my clones under t5's and keep the lights pretty close. But nothing is as strong as the sun!

From seed. I always just stick them out in the sun around late may in Michigan. From the indoor veg room.

My buddy did clones in door. Well he had to shut down. Lights went out on his vegging clones for a soild week. Completely dark. I took the best one, transplanted it and popped it under the sun. This plant took off AF.

seeds should be ok. clones would need some supplemental light for a month or so....best of luck

I've had some burn on me before when I first started growing outdoors. Other ones did fine. Could just be genetics? Some might be more burn resistant then others.
Either way I harden mine off now. And to answer your question, yes a little bit of sun everyday and then gradually bump up the hours and they will be fine.

Harden them off. Even if the sun doesn't burn the shit out of them, it will still stress them out, and slow them down.
