Accidently Broke Stem in Flowering

So I was trying to control the height of the plants and one snapped. Its not severed.

Any thought on what will happen? I gave it a quick fix with a stick and string to keep it straight but I know this is gonna cause problems. I ran out of height since the plants are pushin 6ft with a month to go. I am thinkin it will repair itself a possible hermie?

My next grow I wont have these issues because I will put them into flowering earlier plus I have the proper lighting. It snapped at about the top 10 inches of the plant.

duct tape it together, always works for me

and try to make it as close together and airtight as possible

It'll keep growing.. just not like without injury..

For future reference.. bending/tying you do when plant needs water....... a watered plants stem is more rigid.....

Try LST too... the plant in my av is one that I bent at a 45 degree angle....... saved about 3' at the end...
LST and topping charts..

I will get some tape on it. I have new ones going at the moment that I am LST'n.

a little match stick or similar rigid device helps along with the tape , i prefer masking tape easier to remove but not as sticky and and can dry out under the light and come undone so sometimes you have to redo it but I have rebroke stems in other places trying to remove duct tape that is too tight and choking the stem, you do want a good air seal thought to avoiud embolisims
