Accidental light in flower

My grow was 4 wks into flower looking great then they started to grow like punk rocker hair styles on top and im at wk 6 flower now and just realised why it was the light was coming on for 30 mins in the dark period and ive no idea why but assume it must of happened around wk 4 when I noticed tops of buds growing as I say punk hairstyles lol, my question is can I do out to save this grow or is it just done for, I had some nice looking crystally bud growing for first 4wk aswell, can it be salvaged ?

Salvage what? It was cannabis before the lights, and it's still cannabis. It's healthy, right? You will harvest Cannabis.

The worst thing that will happen is you will get seeds. Some people say flowers with seeds are more potent. Never tried them side by side though from the same plant so couldn't tell you. But I've smoked plenty of weed with seeds and it was still good stuff.

Only a problem if you are selling to a dispensary. Otherwise pick out the seeds for future grows (they will be fems) and enjoy your smokes.

By salvage I ment is there anything I can do, for instance cut the funny bits off or leave to grow longer etc, just seeing if anyone done anything similar.

If you see nanners or ball sacks, cut them off. That's about all you should look for. The flowers will be fine.

There are people who grow auto's with lights on 20 hours a day. Light will screw up a photo if it disrupts the dark periods, but that should only cause a herm condition, if anything.

It going to take quite a bit longer and the buds won't be as dense as they would have been... Still should have plenty of Trichomes... That's what counts..

You may get seeds you may not if you do they'll be female and they may go hermie too and have seeds too it may be just a few seeds or could be lot it can vary :eyesmoke:

I presume the punk rock hair do you are seeing is foxtaililng . Leave the hair clippers alone and let those punk rockers grow lol.... Others are correct you may get some seeds.. Bonus bro....

You could just fix the timer and continue on, any nanners ect just pull it off and keep the plant healthy to reduce the chances of nanners popping back up.

2 weeks of midnight interruption sounds about right to kick em back into veg, fix that timer lol

Yes that looks right except my punk hair style been growing for 2 wk so a few inches taller now, I assume the plant putting new veg out, theres only about 2 wk left now, I fixed timer now, what are nanners is that the new growth on top of buds ? Should I cut this off ? Thanks in advance.

Noo dont cut anything mr anxious guy lol...Nanners is slang for male flowers and or pollen sacks. May happen from stress , I think that may be what they are saying to remove if you see them.

Yes exactly. Hermaphrodism takes two forms; one produces tiny banana shaped pods and the other producers full size man bits.

If you see either, just snip them off. Well, if you see either growing on your plants that is. Don't go randomly snipping male bits. ;)

Thanks alot for the advice guys took wind right out my sale this id only done a few grows but this one was looking best till new growth started on top of the buds as in slfreak picture above except mine is 3 or 4 inches long of new growth on top of bud ! So to be clear leave that new growth alone and no cutting lol ?

Come on ,peeps whatcha gotta say about it. ???? Come on then, lets hear what you would do ! I personally would get said "timer" back on track after punishing it severely, carry on in the flower mode as usual cutting nossing!!!! They will need to flower longer now , may look wonky, may even have some seeds but they will smoke good and you will be happy and you will begin again...... Being concerned is good but being concerned and relaxed is the best way to keep it fun. Just sayin.
