Here is a few pictures of what they look like on day 15 of 12/12. Feel free to ask questions and I'll answer them the best I can. I am trying to keep everything simple and easy for this grow. Once there's a pile of seeds I can start paying a bit more attention to details.
A little recap:
So far it is looking like an even 4/4 males and females. I have all the plants labeled 1-8. So by the end, in a perfect world, there will be 4 seeded flower samples each with 4 pollen donors. I should have a decent idea of the respective flowering times of each mother, and then be able to get a little idea of what kind of flower they are able to make.
So far I am regretting throwing them all in the same container. It seems this makes it extra difficult for the lower branches to get any light. Also, it would be nice to be able to spread them out and have a better look at them.
The leaves were yellowing and I realized I had a pretty serious nutrient deficiency in my soil. I added the recommended amount of Alaskan fish fertilizer and that seems to have taken care of everything for now. I also had a pretty nice population of fungus gnats. I just used a light dose of a nematode product called nemaknights in the soil, and hung some regular old fly tape and so far it seems to have stomped them out.
Thanks again for checking this out. The smells on these are way better than I expected. I can't wait to be posting bud pics.
