ACAPULCO GOLD - have you grown or smoked it? Hard to find info, pls help :-)

Hey rollitup.
Im growing an acapulco gold from barneys. I always wanted to try it, dont know why, it just looks killer.
I cant really find any info on the strain as far as growing it, at all.
Or any info or reports on the smoke of the bud either, No reviews, bud porn, videos. Nothin.
If any one has any info on it or anything please share.
Advice and comments of any kind are always appreciated.

If it comes from Barneys Farm chances are it's not what it claims to be. I have a friend who smoked some awesome Mexican recently while visiting. Blew her mind wide open. She was warned before consuming as well. So stuff like it still exists. But finding it in seed form will take digging and Barneys Farm is not the place to start.

I have heard some shitty things about Barneys. Hopefully I get a decent version, although I will look around for another seed co that has it. I could never get a clone so it owuld have to be seed, thats the shitty part.

Smoked some in the 70's. Excellent herb, that's why it is still famous. I plan on growing some for my last crop of the year because it takes a long time from my understanding, 12 to 14 wks. Good luck

I had an Oz of some AG a couple years ago. It was some good some smoke. It was light green with blonde looking hairs, smelled tropical, the high was descent. I had Afghan Kush at the same time I remember the Afghan being more potent then the AG.. That was the only time I ever saw the strain

I actually did Barneys critical kush and Acapulco gold last year. A lot of people don't like Barney farm but they both came out pretty good. The AG produced big sticky nugs with a decent smoke. The only problem I had with the AG was it doesn't do well with heat. It was in the summer time and my grow room was a little hotter than it should of been and the AG produced some nanners and pollinated itself. There were some seed in the bud but it was still pretty good. The critical kush was way better.
