Just finished harvesting one, and its been in the jar a few days.. Drank a few crown n cokes last night and couldnt help myself, so i opened the jar and loaded the bong with it, and then the bowl... I cannot get over the taste of this!! and cannot wait to see what a couple weeks will do to it. Havent smoked enough to compare to the emerald jack yet, but i may like it better, jury still out though. Pretty potent smoke too, and crystal clear in the head, no couch lock. Cant believe somebody wasted money buying 30 seeds to kill them over leaf mutations... just silly.. Will get 5 instead of pick n mix in a month or so. Hope i get a TGA male from the promo, or the jilly bean( reallly hoping the jilly bean) and then go across the gold a few times so i wont have to order it again.

I would want to cross for whichever is better, the promo or the Acapulco, unless you've grown out all his gear and the Acapulco is your preferred phenotype.

Yea, true, but i was gonna keep the promo pure, plus run it across everything else... Id like to have a pretty much all a gold, and out of the offspring i could easily go back across and have some of it in the other gear... Gotta get that male first to get some pollen. I havent tried the other but i really like the acapulco pheno, and i may like the promo as much or better, but with that being said i like having mulitple kinds to smoke on and theres always room to put jars of cured green. LIke right now i have 8 kinds to smoke, only a 1/2 g of one, the kannabia special, but a total of about 3 zips from all of it.
Im finally getting some sativas done, so now i can be a little more productive and not lay on my ass all day, lol..

I know ill run my master kush across the acapulco, two crystal clear highs... Should be an interesting mix of indica and sativa.

BF Acapulco gold is something ive always wanted to try... and i know what you mean right now i got about 8 diff. kinds to smoke on..
variety is the spice of life!!!

Yes it is!!! Each one is different too, from put you to sleep, to getting some work done energy.
Its why i love 12/12 from seed, sumin done every month, and sometimes 4 or 5 done in a month.

i grew barneys aca.gold last year. i hated it. the plant was cool, the buds had like sharper calyx's that foxtailed in a really pretty way. but the smoke was not potent (12 weeks 12/12) and i didnt like the flavor. kind of green tasting imo. i grew it organically and it faded out perfectly too.

the phenotypical variation might show somthing better with a couple more seeds, any pics?

So far mine seems to have a good bit of potency, still hasnt been in the jar long enough to dry and cure where it burns real well.

Its taking a little longer than normal to get to a good burning point, much like the pineapple express i hjarvested which took a week or two longer than than anything else. Both the A gold and p exp were exxxtremely stick when trimmming and they keep the stickyness longer in the jar.
Where the gold is now, is more potent than the p express was at the same point, and when the pineapple got a lot better after a few weeks.

I dont have any pics at the moment, but ill take one of the buds later.

Love the aca I have tried recently. Small buds, fluffy and not a strong strain. Real nice effect.

Same here, I enjoyed mine. Had some over fert problems in flower but still got some good smoke.
Liked it for a daytime smoke, my areas always been flooded with indica dom strains.

I had a friend that grew that strain to.
His was weak to and smelled like hay.
Not at all like the AG from the past....at all.
