AC Infinity Cloudline S4 With Aussie Plug?

I plugged it in and then all you hear was an electrical pop. Assuming it was the motor. I contacted them about a replacement but I didn't have time to receive another one to find out it didn't work too.
Like I said, I may have just gotten a faulty fan. I didn't plug in the sensors before powering it up

Aussie plug? Thought they were American. Mine shipped from the us and had a regular plug and was made for 110-120v

I emailed them after reading this as im keen to get one. They are 110v,so you'll need to spend about $100 on a step down transformer from somewhere like jaycar.
The fan itself is variable dc voltage, but the controller which powers the fan requires 110v ac. Hence the need to 'step down'/convert from 110 to 240

I would suggest using the travel adapter since we do not typically recommend using third party cords unless you can have a local electronics expert verify that it will work with our fan unit.
A simple travel adapter for 2euros should do the trick

AC Infinity products usually include either an USB connector or a power adapter. The USB connector is compatible with all standard USB ports. The power adapters are designed to accept 100 to 240V AC which makes it compatible with all international power outlets. However, it contains an IEC type-A plug so a simple plug adapter is needed to convert it's shape to be compatible with the destination country's outlet. A transformer or converter is usually not needed.
