Actually it does. If CBDA is a precursor to CBD, than one would reason that it's effectiveness is less than that of CBD. That would be your difference.

If you clicked the link and read the descriptions for CBD and CBD-A it would have. In order to get the pain relief/muscle relaxant properties of CBD you need to convert the cbd-a into cbd. Not sure exactly what temp this takes place at, but I found heating it to 250 degrees for ~ an hour does the trick.

I think you missed it too, read the post by chronicfan on the previous page to which my question was replying to.
As for decarbing to remove the acid molecules, that's pretty basic knowledge. I read your link, it didn't have any info beyond that.
To decarb your buds try 15 minutes at 300 degrees for the best results, if you using a pan or anything other than just a piece of foil to put your buds on you should preheat it with the oven prior to putting your buds on it.

We sure could use some ACTUAL clinical research on this... Who knows? Maybe the CBDA form is already potent cancer fighter while the CBD form is a better pain reliever, etc?

from what I've read, the acid version of CBD and THC are just as good or better in some areas. just beware the raw juice is VERY acidic ( DUH ) and no small amount of fruits and raw honey gets rid of the taste or hit to your stomach, take it in small dosages the first time you try raw juice. you've been warned

Don't listen to this idiot. Heating at 200 will do the trick just fine. At 250 you'll start to convert to cbn.

THC starts to instantly decarboxylate at 222F and boils at 314F, the faster you can decarb the THCA into THC and bring the material back down to ambient temps the less THC degradation (conversion of THC to CBN) will take place.
A lab here in Michigan call Cannalytics did some pretty intensive experimenting with decarboxylation, testing samples from 150F to 310F in 10 degree increments vs time in one minute increments. Their conclusion was that 300F for 15 minutes was the most efficient temp and duration for debarboxylation.
Things to keep in mind... The average oven in our homes aren't incredibly accurate and they will have mild swings in temperature. Its a good idea to actually test your oven with a baking thermometer prior to using them for decarboxylation at temps near cannabinoid boiling points. At 300F there are a few terpenes that can boil off but the most common ones like myrcene, limonene, and pinene all have boiling points well over 300F. Also, there is more than one way to skin a cat, if you have other temp/duration figures that you swear by it doesn't mean they're wrong...

if anyone knows ANY locations in southern California, please post it. I just re-read all the articles and found some things to be contradicting what is all over the web on clinical tests and outcomes of raw juice from cannabis versus smoking it. hope people do their research , before taking our opinions in here. As for ACDC I have seen some lab results posted that claimed 21% for the CBD and that is quite different than plain old Cannatonic , that I have seen til now, it usually is like 6%. so to me while acdc is the outcome of crossing Cannatonic and another plant, it's the new genetics that give it a value above plain Canna to me.

I am also looking for this, everyone that claims to have any of these cuts is full of it or a flake, I have only been searching for a month and cannot get a reliable source in southern Riverside. I did find a good Harlequin but they will not release cuts.

Actually Hyroot, AC/DC is a Cannatonic x Ruderalis cross, not just a Cannatonic phenotype.
As for Cheese, it's a worked genetic line, not just a Skunk #1 pheno.
Cheese is Skunk #1 crossed to a Kush (probably Hindu).

^^^^ no. Skunk 1 x Hindu kush is Hindu skunk or fake master kush. UK cheese is a sister pheno to skunk 1. It came from sensi seed bank in Amsterdam then grown in London in the 80's. If cannatonic was crossed with a ruderalis (sub breed) it would be an auto. So I don't think so. Ac/dc a sister pheno to cannatonic. Its been in the cannabis cup for the last 10 years .. From resin seeds... It was the first high cbd strain around. Cannatonic is 1:1 cbd :thc and ac/dc is 20:1. pollen chuckin......

Hindu Skunk is an F1 resulting from a Skunk #1/Hindu Kush cross. Apples don't equal oranges.
There's a lot of mythology around strain origins and much of it is wrong.
Do you really believe that Trainwreck was discovered in a farmers field near an actual train wreck?

As for AC/DC, I know what I'm talking about, see the screen grab below.
First, Ruderalis is naturally high in CBD's, much like hemp.
If you cross a photo (like Cannatonic), with an auto (like Ruderalis), roughly 50% of the offspring will be photoperiod plants.
So just because a strain has an autoflowering parent doesn't mean that it will carry that trait.
