First post so please forgive my ignorance.
Strain - StarTrek OG
Time from germinating - Exactly 1 month
4th node is growing.

In the first pic right in the dead center of the pic seems to me like a small pistil but without the hair. Since its only literally been 1 month from day of planting seed im somewhat doubting what I think im seeing. This has been a very slow growing plant too especially compared to what others seem to say online about their grows.

Give it a couple more days and check back.. you want to look for a white pistil coming out of the calyx. This will be the first sign of a girl. Some also say that if the stipules cross there is a higher chance you have a fem.

Here is my earliest photo of a female node.

Is that what those are? I didn’t know pistils could pop out from the side branches like that. She looks good though
Thanks! They pop out of the calyxes located in the plant's nodes and are the beginning of your bud sites! This is why it is so important to separate your females at the very first sign of sexing, young pistils still have the ability to collect male pollen and cause the plant to produce seeds.

This gives a whole new reason to throw gender reveal parties! :eyesmoke:

yee looks like those are much older plants than mine is so i guess more waiting is in order. Also the stems seem much healthier than mine which are all purple as hell lol
what temps you got in your grow?
some plants have purple branches and sometimes its tempriture related and sometimes it a cal/mag solution, pardon the pun
and yes more waiting till its starts to show its sex.
is it an auto or photo?

Its a photoperiod Startrek OG strain by Hells canyon Genetics. Ive got no idea on the temps tho because i bought everything but a temp sensor and a humidifier because i thought i could scrape by and skimp on those lol (wrong move i guess potentially). I did have a calmag issue but i ammended that 3 days ago so im not sure if thats the case anymore. I did however noticed a small jump in growth once i started supplementing extra calmag thats for certain.

Just be patient and see what happens, sometimes the purple stems are temp related, sometimes its nutes, sometimes its simply your strain. Try not to give too much feed until you know if the plant is a good phenotype or not, depending on your medium the plant should thrive off of the base nutes alone for the first month or so.
