I am a straight n00b per-say lol 1st time around I grew a male 
but learned a lot. With the male I went 18/6 all the way until I switched to 12/12 and I can tell ya if you go 18/6 all the way through your gonna get a taller plant. Now that I've learned some things and read up and asked around I went with 24/0 for 3 weeks and I can legit say I feel like the plants like it when there is continuous light. They are growing mad bushy and look much healthier then ever b4. But I guess to each is own
