Noticed the first amber trich....looks like its getting closer.
It might be just a dirty trich...wait longer...much longer.

lol, I thought those were tomato plantsthat is a marijuana plant.

I don't know but I think everyone who said to wait a week or 2 is right.I have a question for everyone who posted to wait a week... why?
You can't see the trichomes magnified in the pictures... but the poster is indicating they are 95% milky. Every single book I've read on the subject says that trichomes are the only true way to tell when a plant is ready to harvest... and they should be 80 - 90% opaque (or milky) in appearance.
So ... without really being able to see the trichomes and only going by when the poster originally posted ... why is everyone saying to wait a week?
It seems like EVERY THREAD on harvesting has people saying "wait a week"... what gives with this?
I dunno... I'm certainly a novice but if it was me.... and the trichomes were truly 95% opaque... that plant would be coming down pronto.
Hopefully the poster already did a 10 day flush of the nutes...

1. His leaves are still so green
2. the leaves are curled down so baad its not even funny, that would also show you too that he's feeding the shit out of it still and he hasn't begun flushing yet
3. out of all the pics he taken, I can count with one hand how many redhairs I seen. I don't know about you but usually when someone is almost finished there would be alot more red hairs and I have never seen 97-98% white hair finish. whole leaves are not even yellowed yet.
4. you must at least have a good magnifying glass or at least a 30x scope to see if the thrichs are milky white. I don't care how you slice it. no matter how good your eyesight is you cannot tell in those pics other than those are fine looking buds.
he would have to wait another week or 2 anyways to flush it.
And I'm jealous that he and almost everyone here has a half decent camera to be able to take real close up pics to show the bud without it getting fuzzy/blurry
LOL, naw man just the pics you took I couldn't see any. but ya sorry bro, its just thatyou took the picture out of the grow room and you had a black background with flash that showed the plant really good. But as one fo the guys said he thinks its a haze, I somewhow think so too cuz the bud itself like the calyxes and pistils look like my columbian red haze but the leaves don't at all.
And I know its kinda sucks but you'll have fun with it I swear for hours, you have to get a 30x scope min. I suggest the 420 scope I have one its a 60-100times scope for 30 bucks. My haze had milky white crystals too early in the beginning then later the same crystals became longer and more pronounced they were clear. you have to look under a magnigying glass min. too see if they are amber or not, you must. I don't care how you slice it man.
hahah naw man its cool,,,,i've been using general hydroponics, maxigro and maxibloom. I have that scope,,,its the radio shack version though. i just didnt go in all the way...i spent most of my time tryin to keep the camera from moving...haha ,,,,.i thought it was some Afghani....
stay posted i got another one...i could always use the help.
actually he should let them go a week them start his 2 week flush or one week flush both will work. that plant is still very alive as you can see the plant has at least 3 weeks before considering to chop. its sativa as you can tell..its in its 10th flowering week and look at it. sativas are not very good strains to chop early as they are already energetic highs to begin withI have a question for everyone who posted to wait a week... why?

"hairs dont rally mean shit" well i dont think radio shack was around thousands of years ago to supply pocket microscopes of that sort. If you have been growing for awhile then you would see the big misconception of hairs not meaning anything in telling the ripeness. if your hairs were 90-100% dead and curling up at the tips then they would be ripe and the trichomes would be 60-80% amber.looks good, hairs dont rally mean shit, their just an easier way of telling ripness.. i have a plant with 80% cloudy 20% clear trics... but 55% red hairs, others might have cut it now but it would be immature...
