My bulbs are 67 lumens per watt
The 200 watt cfl is rated at 12000 lumens if you divide that out you'll see I get more lumens in the end

8 x 42 = 22512 lumens
200 watt cfl is rated at 12000
5 x 42 = 14070 lumens

That's why you see people with a million 23 watt bulbs instead of like 4 or 5 big bulbs. It's cheaper (to buy) and you get more light. Once you get to like 300 watts tho it's best to just switch to hps etc

Oh also if your bulb fails you're screwed unless you can find another real fast. If a small bulb goes out or breaks it's not as big a deal at all. Just a pain to deal with a million bulbs. Which is why I went with the 8 bulbs instead of 16 23watters

just a lil under 40 days... trichomes are forming on the leaves and on the buds...they got about 40 more to go...
The thing is that i am really heavy feeding them... like 2 times more than i should and they dont seem to get nutrient burns..they indeed seem underwatered after 2 days...
Maybe low humidity?? temps are about 29 at night and 33 at day... i got two plants in 2 gallon pots...they get back up after half an hour when watering them...

Careful overfeeding. Sometimes you won't see signs till like a week after. I overdid it in the beginning but never saw burn. I do feel they slowed growth because of it though...

Careful of the feeding mate. With cfls things slightly slow down, thats y it takes a little longer for them to mature.

They dont give a damn...i let them get a tad underwater and then give them a nice feed...they are salty as fack even the bottom buds that never had good light coverage...
I hope for the best...

plants dont eat molasses. If the buds are not dense =proper resources are not being provided. Plants will grow to their weakest resource provided. you decide which . Molasses is not a proper resource for plants.
Molasses is a good addition to the feeding regime. Some may say it is pointless but actually it is very beneficial. I agree that the molasses does nothing to the plant directly, but it does provide a huge amount of sugars and carbs for the microbial herd in the soil. This is very important for them to thrive. Now, the plant DOES naturally release sugars from the roots in a symbiotic relationship with the micro bacteria, in turn reviving more readily available nutrients. BUT as the plants flowers start to mature, it stops releasing sugars into the soil and instead puts all its resources into bud production. In nature this works fine, winters coming, and the micro organisms just will go into hibernation untill the spring, but indoors this isn't the case. If you don't constantly feed the microorganisms in the soil up untill harvest, they will stop getting fed naturally by the plants root system and go into hibernation, no longer assisting your plant in finishing your buds.
So pretty much, molasses will feed your herd in the soil, and keep them actively producing available nutrients for plant throughout the entire flower cycle

if your nutrient program and feeding habits are correct those beneficial organisms are being well fed right to the end of flower with no loss. many things that may seem like a good idea indoors just are not. you may be correct in feeding the beasts..but while adding items to your web that are harmful. I dont use molasses and my flowers definitely are not ever suffering. They're award winnig lookers with stellar effect. It took years to get to that point and my first step was to stop with the bullshit outdoor growing techniques of yesteryear and start applying indoor principals to my garden. no more issues ever, that was my result.

I will agree however that back when quality info and ferts, hydro stores, internet were unavailable there were many kitchen items in use to grow clandestine marijuana. glad thats changed today. no offense at all but I hope you can dig it soon.
no more pepsi, miracle grow, molasses, carrot curing, vinegar, lemon juice for me ever

You want more dark than light sort of speaking. it needs to get at least 12 hours of darkness ( only for non autos, autos get 18/6 most of the time) but if your plants only get say 10 or 11 hours of darkness they will stress to either the point of turning herm or they will get confused and try reverting back to veg. Which will probably result in some seeds anyways. Best case scenario is they stress for a week or so with stunted growth then keep going with her life cycle
Just my 2cents
Hope all goes well, my friend:peace:

i meant if you ruin your time schedule for a day or two cause your timer broke down lets say...and it was turning on and off whenever it wanted..
Would they stress if that happens for one or two times??
