okay when you put the babies in a huge pot they will first discover the root system, which will be huge. so dont worry if they hardly grow. 3weeks dont worry. when they start going hold on and be prepared to feed i mean feed and water good. that plant will take off and not slow down. my c99 didnt do anythig for 11 days then bam. but i use air injection soil do all the oxygen makes they grow quick.

Hmmm that's what I figured I think I'm just impatient. I wonder though if maybe the soil is a bit too damp also. I just worry about root rot. I know I don't over water but it sure stays damp for a very long time, and there's not really any runoff. I drilled extra holes in the pots because I wondered. It it doesn't seem to have done anything. I keep feeling for some reason like there should be a lot more perlite in that soil to help,it drain and to get some air in it.

Also could they just be getting too much light? Should I go down to 65w? Why would the two leaves look burnt and brown?

you want it to get to 75%-85% dry if you keep it moist then no air can get to the roots and they will slow slow slow grow. let it dry out a bit more. also use air pump in your water container for overnight then water in am and they will love the extra oxygen in the water/feed

Im no expert at alll, but based off last pic, I thought your plants were a week old. Hopefully they're just establishing a root system as others have said. I am doing my first grow as well. Anyways, subbed, cant wait to see outcome. Keep it up!

go buy a $5 cheap fish air pump and some line with an air stone. hang it in the pail you use to water over night loosely cover it. and if you get water down this is my c99 at 44 daysbottom pic and 24 days at lay down. i lst and fim so far. i laid her down like this.
lay down--> c99 lst.jpg
44 days old after lst and fim. gonna top all tops soon all 10 of them--> View attachment 3024021
she will have 20 tops after i top her next week. first have to give her a 5 gallon pot. she is in 3 gallon now.

Yeah, thanks man, they look like they came from dwarf genetics to me or something. Damn lollipop guild plants. I'll keep at it though and let everyone see what's happening.

done. Thanks for the idea. By loosely covering could I just throw a rag over the jug of water? Then by adding the oxygen into the water overnight and watering them with it the next day they'll be getting more o2 with each watering, huh..... Clever.

you dont want it to evaporate. unless its city water then leave it half open. and dont mist till its growing again, i started misting daily when my plants was drinking allot of water and they were all over 12 inches tall before that once a week .

Cool, thanks. It is definitely city water, but we have very clean water here where I am. I have a gallon jug bubbling away right now and will feed again tomorrow with 1/2 strength nutes. I won't mist for a little while. I haven't misted yet but I need to start soon once they start getting a bit bigger. There's definitely growth again though, no question about it.

Hey I did some looking around and this is what my leaves looked like- so I moved the light higher. For those xgs-190 users out there View attachment 3024627 the thing is really strong. I recommend growing at 65w while they're still as small as mine are. My leaves on one of my little girls looked like this pic. I now have it at 30" above at 130w.

yeah you burn the heck out of it. you need a fan blowing across the top of your plants. then 24" is good. i read the specs and I have led air movement is huge.

Yeah that was a pic off the web, it's not my plant, but I burned one of my ladies pretty good. She's fine now and recovering. I have a little clip on fan on all the time it was just the distance to the led which burned her.

the led shouldn't burn it like that, you want to look for leaves turning white/bleaching. Led to close will bleach them. I posted some bud porn on my thread in my signature. I so happy now. your light should do allot better.

I'm still learning indoor growing. its allot more complex than outdoor growing. Thank you. I'm doing a test grow for lights and see if i like this air injection soil. I found that punching holes in the lines doesn't work for long. so i now heat a safety pin and put holes in the air line that way so the dont close on me. again learning curve. once i get this system worked out ill have the same results as pure hydro with more of a safety net. since transplanting and new air lines im seeing huge growth again. i feed them 900 ppm 2 times a day now in flower. and 800 ppm for me c99 2 times a day. what i would do for your light. i cant wait too get back to work and buy bigger lights.

I've been reding mello136's thread tonight- seems like he's using the same light as me, and now that he's starting to use nutes his plans look really good.

i fed mine last night and they looked a lot better when I looked at them this afternoon. I'm trying not to overwater so I won't water again until Wednesday I think, unless they seem to want it. Then I'll fed with nutes again on Friday or Saturday, upping the dosage slightly.

i bubbled air into the gallon of water/nutes yesterday before I watered for a few hours but it made me wonder how your aerating your soil.... Are you just running tubes from your air pump with holes burnt into them so air just keeps getting pumped into the soil? I guess it makes sense actually, but do you notice it helping? Because if I'm already using the airstone in my gallon jug with the air pump adding air to it before I water or feed, why don't I just shove the damn air stone into my soil and pump air right into my soil?
