Awesome good to know.I used it for remineralizing lab quality R/O water (2ppm->50ppm). It is like making your own confined aquifer spring water. I have tried a few methods of dissolving dolomite and found citric acid to be the easiest and cleanest. I like it better than calmag because calmag often includes nitrogen. I grow with ROLS so didn't feel comfortable using calmag products.
I was lucky enough to gain access to some very good well water so I no longer need to use R/O+dolomite. The well water is about 130ppm and smells a bit sulphury when it first comes out which I love. Well water pH is 7.5. I have just been using that and haven't had to check pH in years. When I recycle the soil I no longer add dolomite.
When it comes down to it, if my soil mixture is too weak the ladies let me know in veg with obvious deficiencies of all sorts. But if it is strong enough they will love the LED light.

I went and got some dolomite lime and had a look for anything like cal mag but couldn't find any, did find epsom salt though.
I mixed some dolomite lime in a litre of water and shook it up and seemed some had dissolved so fed it to my plant like that and sprinkled some more into the soil.
If I put some dolomite lime into my next grow soil I shouldn't have problems with cal mag deficiency right?
And it will be a good buffer for Ph.
