The plants were no longer droopy before lights off but I am worried I might have killed lots of beneficial insects and encouraged the bloody spider mites :/ anyway Im not gonna stress over it too much, we will see what happens... If I had an intake fan running with the exhaust fan, it would prevent anything like this from happening because the room is air tight besides intake and exhaust...

Good news, I think the plants were not terribly affected by the heat fuck up, they all look good this morning...

Its hard to tell the size of the canopy on the pics so I went with a measuring tape, from the wall to the last buds in both direction its about 3 and half feet wide by 3 feet deep. If I have time today I am thinking of separating the lights into 2 clusters of 4 or maybe 6 lamps over the plants and 4 surrounding the canopy... spreading the plants apart a bit... what do you guys think?

Or maybe I shouldnt mess with it this round and leave everything as is... I am wasting a bit of light around the edges but as it is I have about 85 watts / sq. ft. lol ...I will certainly do things differently on the next round!!

This is the plant in the very corner, a fair bit of light makes its way down there!

My Christmas present, I am pretty sure the pollen is doing its thing on both plants now...

Glad to hear all is well with the ladies. Quite the scare I'm sure. As I'm running just 4 of these vegging 6 babes in a 4x4 space right now, I can tell how bright these puppies are. I can't imagine that any set up you're going to go with having 10 w90s covering a 3.5x3 is going to be bad. Having said that, I like the idea of having 6 units above the plants and one on each side (on an angle as you already do) if you have the room. Perhaps it would beef up the buds on lower branches? Interested to see what 800+ W of vero 29 can do.

I decided to reorganize the lights, well sort of, hilly billy style, its a mess above the lights, ropes bungies and power cords running in all direction. Not sure I really improved light distribution but after spending nearly an hour trying to move the plants and the lights to their sweet spots, I have had enough for today. Sure thing though there are a lot of fkin buds under those lights!!8.jpg 9.jpg 10.jpg

I am sure one of your light could cover 2sq/ft easily...1.5 optimum...I guess you should put 8inch between each to cover more surface! (5x5!?)
Hope everything is going to be ok now...no dead...let's smile again!
Have a great day ★

Day 29, around 4 weeks to go... It will be interesting to see if they are gonna fill in, if they do I think the pound of nice nugs is within reach, what ya all think?

To maximize yield of nice nugs, I might do a double harvest on this thick canopy, let the lowers go an extra week...

OMG!!!! I can t believe this just happened, I am so mad. Major heat stress in the grow room. I have not been in there for 2 days so I fkin hope this just happened today... I walked in the grow room, and its a fkin sauna! Im like WTF!!! the exhaust pipe had fallen off and I dont know if it happened yesterday or today, 2 plants were droopy. This is a major fuck up I am so fkin pissed off.... and ashamed :/

Yeah its good for a first run, I am stoked, and it has been super low maintenance, its not like I babied the girls... at all!

Things will change drastically soon, I want to lower power consumption, I am waiting to the end of this grow so everyone s happy about the test run but next round Im gonna have AF600s/W90s combo in 2 separate small rooms. I am gonna stop running any other cheap LEDs I have, and possibly go back to 12/12 from seeds.

Somewhere around Day 35, looking awesome to me. I foresee a lot of W90s under Christmas trees this year, ho ho ho
Oh man, almost everything is out of stock, and Santa wants some 5000Ks for the veg tent :/ (still gotta ''veg'' those 12/12 from seeds)... I think its time for the elves to get to work!!

So ready for your job?...10days left before you will bring child toys!!!
Why don't you buy a cxb 3590/3070 panel?
You have johnson light, pacific light, tasty led, gogreen here on riu and it is much more efficient than Vero @100w
If you are happy with A51 you will be crazy with cxb!

retiring the 3 AF600s!!?? u kidding!!! man they still have a ton of life in them, just a remainder, when a lamp is rated at 50 000 hours, its 12 years of 12/12 and I hope to still be using my AF600s 10 years from now...

I am going to mix the w90s with AF600s as soon as this test run is over because I know the W90s work better than I can grow right now... The only reason I am waiting to move things around is that I know most of you guys watching this thread are waiting on the yield.

My passion is more into growing than into technology, I bought AF600s 3+ years ago, paid premium for them and now its totally paying off! The most solid and reliable lamps I have purchased so far! If you look at my older journals from years ago, you will see that I have tried many brands over the years and nothing came even close to A51. As long as they build reliable lights that perform better than my growing skills I will stick with them. and also lifetime warranty to back their products...Thanks for you opinion though.
